It's now January 10, 2015 and I first must say " the passing of time " IS so true after a facelift. My PS , you lovely posters, are all correct ! PATIENCE ! As for my PS , dr. Steven Laverson , Encinitas ,ca IS truly a wonderful artist with surgeons skills luckily for me!!! I highly recommend him for more than just facial work, not having had anything else done ( yet) but seeing a couple real patients results I'm now planning to have my breasts ( Aka enormous Good for nothing drooping blobs that continue to defeat any chance of good posture) lifted , whatever he decides, just so they aren't flapping in the breeze and I can get a decent , even maybe a pretty bra someday! And more car accident scars revised, he is soooo great at this
improvement ( he virtually made my scared, ( and sagging too) neck look normal, even better than I'd imagined . So I am happy to say it is VERY worth it,, the right PS is paramount and I lucked out! I totally recommend him . My next surgery will be posted and updated as it happens and hopefully helps someone out there make these IMPORTANT type of decisions easier. Thanks REALSELF , for existing!!!! We need you!!!!

Things have gradually improved, I really love my defined neck, my eyes have gotten better but still don't have complete closure when I sleep, the watering has stopped and they are still very dry. I had my opthomalagist put tear duct plugs in and that helps. He also assured me I did not have any damage to the eyeballs. I am about 4 months post op now, still have forehead numbness and the skin around my eyes is still red and tender but I have just started to wear eye makeup again and they look pretty good. My ps has continued to see me and will do some laser in January to flatten some skin and remove the broken capillaries on my cheeks, they occurred during the bleph. So I am happy to see daily improvement, when everyone including my ps says "give it some time" and that's very true. Patience required.

So far he is a caring and thoughtful , will comment on him after my pre-op and surgery. Now that it has been almost 4 months post op I can say I really like my ps and he continues to work with me on fixing anything that hasn't resolved on it's own. I recommend him and I'm pleased with the results. He is very kind and thorough . Now , it's January ,2015 and I'm am very very pleased with this truly skilled artist who just happens to be a plastic surgeon, love him, recommend him highly. It's been 1 & 1/2 years post surgery so I feel confident in my opinion of the whole process he and his team performed ,professionally and I will be in his office again soon! Jwolfe
