I had 2 different surgeries, and I am glad to have met Carlos Chacon. The 1st surgery was done by a different doctor, a septoplasty on my left side. It did help improve my breathing, but since only one side was worked on, the other would eventually need it too. Also, that doctor decided to not remove the bump on my nose because the bump was too small. Don't do what I did.
Get evaluated by Dr. Carlos Chacon to get all work done in one session. I shared with him and his staff my experience. Dr. Chacon correctly diagnosed me and corrected my nose inside out.
I couldn't breathe well. Waking up in the middle of the night coughing and spitting. This was a real drag, because then I couldn't fall asleep, and this was at 230am, 3am having to be at work at 730a. Made my days hard to get through.
Get a pack of straws because you won't be able to drink out of a cup too well. I also had a few acupuncture sessions to clear my sinuses, many don't believe in acupuncture but it helped me in preparing and recovery too. I had no pain afterwards. I did use pain killers for 1 day.
Regarding cost, I don't exactly know how much my insurance (PPO) covered, much was.

Carlos Chacon improved my breathing so good now that I can run miles with out mouth breathing. I sleep better, I truly rest when sleeping and my nose is straight. I had broken it when I was 12 years old in a soccer match.
