Emsculpt Caused Large Painful Lumps in my Thighs.
jennifer3boysOctober 5, 2022
I had my fourth treatment of Emsculpt Neo. It was extremely painful this time. The technician said she was making the strap tight this time. I know that I was sweating under the paddle and it felt extremely hot this time. I had red, sore marks on my skin after the treatment. But it is two weeks later and I have these large, painful, red lumps on my thighs. They bulge up so much. I don’t know how hat to do. I talked to the clinic and they had not seen it before and didn’t not know what caused it or what it is. If anyone knows what to do please respond!!!

Terrible Pain!
jennifer3boysOctober 6, 2022
Two weeks and a day. It hurts terribly!!! I talked to the Emsculpt consultant today. She said that it is probably swelling of the fat (panniculitis) and should go away. My legs are SO swollen and painful! If anyone has any suggestions that would be amazing!!

I called the clinical team at a Emsculpt. They stated they did not know for sure which I thought it was a terrible response since you guys developed equipment. We also talked to our representative. She said that it is panniculitis. This can happen with these sort of procedures and it should go away in a few weeks to a few months to up to a year. She did not give any advice on what to do to help it resolve quicker other than light massaging. FYI it is still painful and I’ve actually developed more.

Did this ever get resolved? Do you think maybe a lymphatic massage could get the accumulated fats out? or is it the antibiotic route?

I've had the same experience. My physician ordered an ultrasound which resulted in findings of lipomas in the area. One was over 3 cm, the other one over 5 cm. It is still red and very painful to the touch. Any suggestions for treatment, appreciated.

Mesenteric panniculitis is a rare condition that we're still learning about. It causes chronic inflammation in connective tissue in your abdomen (mesentery tissue). Chronic inflammation eventually causes scarring of the tissues. Treatment with medication usually resolves symptoms.

On my abdomen. It is a build up of lactic acid. Just keep massaging them. They will go away
