WORTH IT$500
I want pre-baby abs, or actually better than before. I found a great package that I thought included cryolipolysis but it was just that thing where you go in a freezer so they let me sub in another emsculpt for the service I didn’t want. It is an amazing feeling. Kinda like being pressed inside a collapsing laZboy by my own contracting abs. I did my butt and abs 3x and my core feels stronger already. I have a copper IUD and the plastic surgeon said so long as the device was at the top of my and it should work safely because the part of the nerve that is most effectively stimulated is by the source.

HIFEM

I want to highlight my experience: 1) using a generic/knockoff machine and 2) having a copper IUD. So far it appears both of these things are totally fine and working well. I consulted with a few docs offices first and they all said high placement is best anyway to target full innervation and far enough from the uterus to be totally fine with IUDs and to just look out for feeling heat down low because that’s when there’s a problem. Then I found a good deal on a package and didn’t realize until after my second session it was a generic “build muscle burn fat” machine. With both factors the experience has been totally fine, enjoyable and I think effective. I would not have gotten a generic treatment (especially with an IUD) had I known in advance, but I didn’t experience heat and did get a ton of muscle engagement that even after only my second session I can tell my whole torso feels stronger and my butt is definitely more bubble. My skin laxity is still bothersome to me tho, even though the plastic surgeon I saw recommended this treatment for laxity to pop out the skin with muscle volume.

4th session done!

Even with a knock-off machine 4 sessions was still where I’d plateau (just like the name brand emsculpt does) because I was at 100% on my butt and barely noticed compared with how my legs were jumping at 30% the first time. I shifted placement to try to keep my muscles interested—the first 3 sessions I had 2 paddles on my abs (one on each strip of the hopefully soon-to-be 6 pack) and this 4th session I just used one abdominal paddle in the middle and that at least made it hard work again for the first 6-8 minutes or so before I could get up to 100 and settle in again. There was no warmth from the IUD and the generic machine worked my muscles out for me better than I’d been doing on my own for sure. It was definitely a steal at $250/session and I used a special they were running to get all 4 for $500. I still am annoyed by loose stomach skin and cellulite, which I don’t believe this will help much, so I am going to try RF next I think. I will try to remember to post an update in about 3-4 weeks to see how my musculature has changed.
