-Needed some fluid taken out but it was completely painless!

Welcome to my brutally honest review! A little back story:
I've struggled with my weight and body for a long time! I have a truckload of health issues, too! I have: Crohns, Endometriosis, Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome, Celiac Artery Compression Syndrome, and severe gastric emptying. Losing over 100lbs and lots of lap surgeries left my stomach hanging below my vag! My bellybutton was misshaped. I cannot have children so this deformed stomach and extra skin provided no perks!!! Ooo yea... i had a FUPA!!
My lengthy medical history left a distaste for a lot of doctors, surgeons and hospitals. I interviewed many surgeons and researched for many years before finding "the perfect doctor"- Fady Sinno. A bonus: a couple of my specialists know of Dr. Sinno and said he's highly recommended.
Now, dealing with Insurance: the entire team worked non stop to have a portion of my procedure covered!! I was approved at 6:30pm the night before my operation.
My surgery took place at Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore City. The entire pre op staff was thorough. I have awful veins so it took lots of sticks to get an IV. I was out before i entered the OR. In PACU, woke up but had a bit of difficulty staying awake. Peeing wasn't happening and the PACU nurse was sweet! Dr. Sinno was involved with my after care. Local anesthesia helped numb the pain.
Once home, i could not take pain meds because they were making me sick! It was the worst! This was the most painful surgery!! But, i am used to long hospital staying and pain pumps after surgery. I slept in a recliner and walked around my room for over a week!
Dr. Sinno and his team kept in constant contact and provided new pain meds immediately. I had cell phone numbers and after hour/weekend calls from Rima Sinno. I felt like i was their only patient!
2 drains became my friends... NOT! You'll hate them but they're a MUST! Take care of them. Your lady parts will become a bit irradiated from the binder. You're going to stink! You're going to cry! Make sure you poop and pee! Don't let yourself become dehydrated. Rely on your support system and surgeon's team!!! You're not superman!
15lbs gone and 5 weeks later- i am a new person! I LOVE my body! I show everyone my stomach. It was an awful week and took 2 weeks to feel like myself. It was all worth it! My FUPA is gone! My skin is gone! My abdominal wall is fixed! No more awful stomach. I am looking forward to my wedding dress and clothes shopping.

Dr. Sinno and his staff are attentive and caring! I love the small, personal feel of his office. The team makes you feel like family! From consultation to last post op appointment- you'll never go without! Rima, Justine, and Tayra will take care of your every need. I cannot say enough about these girls! Dr. Sinno made me feel very comfortable. It's a bit nerve wracking to meet a doctor and show them your parts! I spent lots of time speaking with Dr. Sinno before the exam.
