Permanent Stamp Marks

Beautiful919161
I had this procedure done approximately a year ago & have been waiting as I was told the stamp marks would go away with time. Well they have not gone away & I've also been told to stop looking in my magnifying mirror, so I won't see the machine stamp marks that are still on my face. I don't think this is normal & I may be one of those people who just take a long time to heal up. In the place I had the procedure done, they have done a few extra procedures several AdvaTX, Scarlet, microneedling and a chemical peel trying to get rid of the stamp marks. I just don't think this is worth the money. And I literally spent all summer wearing a face mask as well as big floppy hats trying to keep the sun exposure down. So it's a lot longer of down time than 1 week or two. Just beware...

I'm sorry you had that experience. I'm about 10 months out from my Ellacor. The redness has mostly gone but the stamp marks are still very visible and can't be covered with makeup. It has ruined the texture of my skin. Under my chin is the worst area. I have lost pigment there and I think it has made my crepey skin worse. I agree ... just beware.

I'm not sure about your place that did your ellacore, but my place is blaming me saying I obviously didn't follow their directions. What the heck, I did EVERYTHING they told me to do & beyond. Anyway, I hope the stamp marks go away. Even though it's been close to a year now.

you best get full field erbium resurfacing at a decent amount of microns to fix the texture problems you are facing

I'm not sure I understand what your saying?

I also followed the post-procedure directions to the letter. The dr who did the treatment has been supportive and is offering to keep working on my skin until the texture returns to normal. I've had 2 reparative non-ablative treatments so far with only the slightest improvement. I'll post here if things improve, but would be grateful to know if anyone has any success.

I'm sorry this has happened to you too. I'm over 2 years out and it's improving a bit on it's own--- but the marks are still visible to me. The best result I had for correcting was using a bit of filler in the stamp marks- although it's not a permanent fix- it definitely helps a lot. I hope you continue to heal.
