I recently had my second Ellacor procedure and I couldn't be happier with the results! I had my first round last September, a couple weeks before my 50th high school reunion. I had never heard of the procedure before, so when Dr M presented it as a great, non-invasive option, I jumped on it.
Ellacor exceeded all my expectations. The procedure was quick and virtually painless, with minimal downtime. Sarah took care of me both times and she made sure I was completely numb. Honestly, this part was the most painful and I would say it was no different than Novocain at the dentists' office.
The machine has three corers and with each swipe, they core a perfect grid of 36 cores at a time (6x6). There was a little discomfort around my upper lip area, but that was it. My face was a bloody mess after, but all of it washed off easily when I got home.
Within days, I noticed a significant improvement in my skin's texture and elasticity. Most of the fine lines and wrinkles that had concerned me were seriously diminished or completely gone.
It took about two weeks for the redness and tracks to completely disappear except for one stubborn area that took a bit longer. It was easy enough to cover it up, thankfully.
The best part is that the results look completely natural. No one at the reunion knew I'd had anything done, but I received loads of complements about how young and chiseled my jawline looked.
Full disclosure, Dr M had done my neck lift almost two years ago and did a beautiful job. I trust him implicitly and love that I achieved such a dramatic transformation without undergoing surgery. I'm hoping the FDA approves it for other areas of the body!
