Day 6 after Ellacor & track marks look as fresh as they did on day 2

Final Update (About One Year)
$4,000
About a year post procedure, I can say with 100% certainty that Ellacor scarred me. I’m left with pinhole scars in the shape of the Ellacor machine. Perfect grids of pinholes. Working with my provider on a solution hasn’t been fruitful, and they still regularly post Ellacor (the device, not before and afters) on their socials as some miracle, no scarring fast lift.
I’ve gotten two VI Peels through my dermatologist, and have been on tazarotene for about three months. Minimal changes. Hoping with proper nutrition, time and topicals they won’t be noticeable to me anymore.
If you are considering Ellacor I advise against it. The device is not scarless for everyone.

Eight Months Post
Eight months post Ellacor and my little grid marks are finally gone. I am however still left with orange peel texture, and tiny little red dot scars in the pattern of the microcores. You read that right, my cores didn't seal, they scarred. You can go to the best provider you can find, if you're body hates a procedure it will let you know. I have not gotten any discernable tightening after my only treatment. I'm envious of all of the positive reviews. This was an awful thing to have done to my face, and I am, of course wondering how this will effect how I age going forward.

On the one month photo, it seems like you have improvement in the nasolabial fold compared to the day of the procedure. Also, your skin seems tight to begin with so results may be more subtle for you
Omg I feel the same way! This done 4 weeks ago and I hate it! My skin itching like hell and is red and irritated all the time.i see the doctoron Wednesday and they better figure something out otherwise I'm sueing! I was not told there was a possibility this would never heal! I'm so upset my face is ruined and I'm only 45.
I hope you end up in a better place than I did. It was not scarless for me.
Ellacor scarred and branded me - upper lip has craters. It was an horribly painful disfiguring experience. Dr refunded my money. Worse way worse than previous
I have rough feeling skin after three weeks I’m going to another surgeon she what she says it feels like sandpaper

One Month Update
Wanted to give a quick update one month out from Ellacor. I’m still firmly in the category of not worth it. My squares are still apparent, skin texture is ruddy and you can still see the holes where the device went in. Went for my follow up on Tuesday and was asked if I noticed any tightening. No, I don’t see anything that could be construed as positive results. Decided against light / laser because I don’t want to accidentally make things worse. Back to my normal skincare routine as of this morning. Tried a topical steroid like another user suggested but I started breaking out; so ceased.
To anyone considering this procedure. If you fall out of the typical recovery window, there is no telling when your face will clear. Extended red marks can be distressing, I could have recovered from a full face lift by now.
Minimal results for the price, I would have been okay with. Track mark squares one month out to ??? Makes this recovery far too long to be worth it.

How are you doing now?
I hear you! It took me 2 months to not need heavy makeup.
I finally did BBL and it did the trick.
Having said that, 15 months later and I'm going for round two for my face/neck.
Because in the end it did do some tightening (way more than CO2 laser).
I'm kind of nervous about it.
Will NOT do it for my knees ever again.

Clearing up a little bit day by day.
Hey, can I ask why you would never do it for knees again? I'm considering
Thank you for your detailed review. It will help others to know what this is really like.
Because knees take MUCH MUCH longer to heal.
I had to do two rounds of BBL to get them to look normal.

Do Morpheus 8 I did it on my legs beautiful results less money
I’m sorry you had to go through this. Thank you for posting your pictures.
Your face loooks better for sure, except the marks.
Can you give another update soon? You’re one of the only people online I can find that is dealing with the same thing I am and willing to share about it. I’m 17 days out and you can still see the tracks though they have faded. What’s worse is you can see where the hollow needles went it. They should be completely closed by now so this has to be some sort of hyperpigmentation or scarring which is scaring me
I'm sorry to hear about your experience and hope things are better for you now. It definitely looks like things are healing, if slowly and at a pace that makes this not a great treatment option. Sharing in case it is helpful to you-- I also heal slowly. Got a bee sting on my face that was a nightmare. Products with Heparan Sulfate or Heparan Sulfate Analog really help with healing and reducing redness. There is a brand called Sente (not cheap tho!) that makes skincare products with this ingredient and it has truly accelerated my healing. hope this is helpful to you.
