I had 2 syringes of Radiesse injected into my cheeks on 6/21/16. At the same time, I had a small amount of Boletero injected into my tear troughs and Botox in the forehead. I'm so glad I saw the results immediatly because my cheeks swelled up terribly very shortly after the proceedure. That evening was the worst of the swelling and almost 48 hours later the swelling was completely gone. I have to say that my cheeks look amazing! The doctor did an excellent job at rounding out my apples smoothing out my eyes. The effect is soft and somewhat subtle and exactly what I was hoping for! I'm hoping the Radiesse doesn't go away in just a couple of months! I've read some reviews since having it injected that said it is much shorter-lived than people expected. If that is the case then I will have to find a longer lasting alternative to Radiesse because I'm sure it will get quite expensive having to have it injected so frequently. Going without these cheeks just isn't an option for me anymore so I had better get a second job! ????

You look so pretty, thank you for sharing your review and your pics!

What prompted you to choose Radiesse over other fillers?

Thank you! To be honest, I had complete trust in what my doctor recommended. He did a beautiful job on my mother's eye lift and he has many years of experience with cosmetic fillers as well.

Hi I have just read your review of Radiesse, and am so please your procedure went well. I have just posted a few questions on here but sadly no one answers me. I wanted to ask what was the best face filler and lip fillers out there that actually last but I'm still waiting for someone to comment, I am in the UK and iv seen no comments on anyone that has had it here. I had Radiesse 3 weeks ago (1 syringe) and I can honestly say now the swelling has gone, I very sadly see no difference :( my hollow cheeks are still awful and my face still looks 'droopy' and i also had 'Bolero Intense' in my lips 2 weeks ago, and they also have gone right down so my lips look no difference....I remember they didn't go through the options with me what was best for me for my lips as i thought they would have put Restylane or Juverderm etc.....Im so disappointed in the results and I may have well just thrown my money away......I am in my late 50s so it that may have something to do with it, I'm too old to have procedure done now.

I had one vial per cheek of Radiesse injected. Since my swelling has completely subsided, my cheeks are looking much more subtle but still much better than before the procedure. I can only imagine one vial split between two cheeks would probably not be noticeable at all on me. This is my first round of fillers I've had experience with, so I just went along with the doctor's suggestions. I can say that the Belatero that I had injected in my tear troughs is somewhat disappointing now that the swelling is gone. There is still a tiny improvement in my under eye area but not like it was the first few days. I feel like I needed a little more injected in that area but my doctor understandably didn't want to risk over-doing it and making me look un-natural. I have not had lip injections and I probably will not ever just because I'm so afraid of getting duck lips. Good luck!

Hello there my name is Nicky and I have tried a few different fillers. I find Juverderm is brilliant. It really lasts. I had Teosol lip filler 4 months ago and it still looks good. Hope this helps.

Try Sculptra- helps build collagen and lasts about 2 years

So it's been about a month since having the Radiesse injected into my cheeks and the Belatero in my year troughs. My cheeks are much more subtle since the swelling has gone down but I love them still. My tear troughs seem to be rearing their ugly heads a little more each day. I'm somewhat disappointed in the Belatero under my eyes because at first it smoothed my fine lines above the tear trough, but as the swelling went away the results were only very slightly improved from before the injections. I also had Botox injected into my forehead at the same time for horizontal lines and I have to say that is my favorite of all of the injections! My forehead looks amazing! I wish I could get my under eyes to look as smooth!

Tear troughs are so hard to treat! I have had both Restalyne and Belatero in mine, and the dark circles always come back, along with the fine lines. A good concealer is our best friend (and cheaper!)

No don't tell me that! Haha! Have you found a good concealer that camouflages the lines instead of settling into the creases? Thanks!

I use Lancome Maquicomplet with a very light hand. A few minutes after applying, I use a concealer brush to smooth the creases. It's not perfect, but I do my best!

Having the same issues. Doing a consult for lower Bleph or laser resurfacing to tighten the eye area

Hi there I am a newbie here, but very inspired reading your treatment story. My doctor has been planning this same combination for me, as I have lost the definition in my cheeks over time. I wasn't too sure it would work, but looking at your results - I am totally for it.
Other options I got from other docs were thread lift and Plexr - may consider thread but the plexr makes me squeamish I hear it smells like a barbecue :-P
I will be putting up my treatment results soon, fingers crossed!!

Good luck! I've never heard of the other options but I can attest to the magic of Radiesse and Belatero! My cheeks are still looking amazing and my eyes too. I can't believe the difference until I see photos of myself before the injections.

Was it 4 total of radiesse or 1 in each cheek?

Loving my cheeks still.

Still loving my cheeks but some days my under eye area looks baggy. Today was a good day with my under eye area so I'm posting an updated picture. I don't know why some days my eye area looks untouched by the Belatero and other days they look fantastic. So weird!
