Arm Pit fat update

Dina904
So for me, this was definitely NOT worth it. Almost 6 months and there wasn’t much fat removed at all. This was the best angle I could get it to show it and the bra is not tight so not squeezing, just it’s normal state. I feel like this procedure could have been better if I was sitting up, not laying down but I don’t know if that would help either. I’m going to look into other options. Kybella is a slow process, pricey and multiple sessions so it’s a thought but if you have other suggestions please let me know!

About how many inches did you lose?
August 6, 2021
Not much improvement at armpits, and around an inch overall both arms. They were smallest 4 months after but I guess have settled into the final result now, almost 8 months after.

Oh. The reason I ask is bc I had my underarm area done too. Not happy w/my results at all.

The areas closet to my armpits look similar to yours.

Part of me wonders if I should have gotten my armpit area done for better results.

One thing is for certain. ...my arms look nothing like my doc said they would. .. at all.

I think it's hard to know how much fat to remove from that spot because you're laying down and it's stretched out. I wish I would have gotten bra band and shoulders. I think at least the shoulder area would make my arm results better because when they're down at my sides, it actually my back fat that squishes. I'm 100% happy I did it but wish I would have known to do my shoulder blade/back side of armpit area. Do you have pictures of your before/after posted?

I have pictures of before and during recovery. I'm holding off on posting my pix (or any specific detail) until after my post op visit.

Looking at myself in the mirror. .. I've also questioned if/how the way I was positioned had any impact on the surgeon's judgement on how much to remove and where.

Looking back at the Airsculpt website, it looks at though they recommend doing both under arm and armpit. ...or something.

I had my back bra roll (or whatever it's called) done. .. not sure what's going on bc I don't see much improvement there either.

*Meaning the arm pit area is hard to see laying down.

the entire procedure wasn't worth it, or just treating the armpit fat? your arms look great

Arms definitely were, just arm pit area wasn’t. I just think it’s hard for the Dr. to get that area when you’re laying down and your arm is stretched. It’s like it was stretched out so it seems as if there wasn’t much to Lipo so they didn’t get it… but it’s still here a few years later unfortunately.

Photo to show incisions

Dina904
4.5 months after, mostly all my incisions look lighter than my freckles/sunspots. These are the lightest of all of them. Edited to add: I will try to add more but this app doesn’t zoom out enough on photos so you can’t see the ones I took of the back.
