My Ongoing Elipse Journey

WORTH IT
Success so far with Elipse, even during COVID-19 times!
This is my second balloon, and it's going well :)
I lost 50kg in a year, the first time. And now I've lost 5kg in 5 weeks, so the 1kg per week trend continues!
The placement of Elipse went well - so great not to have surgery or anesthesia. And I only had some slight discomfort the first 2 days.
The biggest challenge this time has been the lock down. Last time I used a personal trainer and got in the habit of going to the gym 3 times a week. Fortunately, having the balloon as a tool for weight loss has taught me to take control and use whatever tools are around.
So now the balloon continues to help me with portion control, the nutritionist helps teach me better, healthier eating habits and I push myself to find new exercise habits at home.

It's great that this has given you help during an otherwise difficult time that prevents you from a trainer. Thank you for sharing your experience with the community!

Why did you need to have it a second time?

You don't have to have it a second time, but there are some people who find it beneficial bc they have a lot more weight to lose.

I'm looking into it myself and they say you can lose about 15-20% of your body weight. I need to lose about 40% of my bodyweight, so while 1 balloon will of course help, a 2nd one would help me even more.
