Second set of trays :)

switched to my second set of trays last night, it hasn't been too bad so far, my bottom front teeth are a little sore but nothing too bad. I had to do some filing in this set also, they immediately began to cut the inside of my bottom lip and top lip. These are much tighter and harder to get on, but I'm sure they'll loosen up just like the first set. I've started taking them out to snack, I was hoping they would keep me from snacking, but with the rigorous workouts I do, I'm always hungry, oh well. When will I start to notice a change, I'm so ready to notice something....

Finally!! Today is the first day that I haven't had any discomfort, it's been so nice! I still have a little pressure on the top but nothing terrible. I'm talking with less of a lisp, but the underside of my tongue has a sore on it from the liners and it won't heal. I'm so relieved that I'm getting used to them and sometimes I forget I even have them in. I'll update again when I change to tray 2 in 9 days :)

I got that too, the sore tongue. So I filed the bottom edge of my trays and then the sore tongue went away magically. Give it a try?

Off and on I have the tongue thing and usually a little filing helps. It also helps to get busy with something to distract myself because once you notice it your tongue keeps finding that rough spot.
