Scarred for Life

I have PCOS so had dark hairs growing on my upper lip and chin. I was thirty years old at the time of treatment. I saw a number of UK providers because I was not happy with each one. The treatment hurt and I would be left with scabs and redness that lasted an entire week. I then noticed that I actually had holes were the needle had burnt my skin and am now permanently scarred. Some of the needle marks are in lines on my chin.
I’d finally switched to a woman who I trusted more and never had any scabs or redness. However the needle still left marks in areas. I mean it is literally burning into the skin.
After doing some research this is actually common but I never came across this before in reviews.
Some people see the effects as the skin ages. Mine is still bad though slightly improved however I am scared for the future.
I’ve no idea what the treatment options are but haven’t found anything yet.
I’m not sure what I would have done as shaving or plucking was a nightmare.
I was told never to use laser as it makes the hair issue worse which was echoed by my beautician.
It is a relief to have much of the hair gone but if I had my time again I would never have done it as I miss my skin.
I have started spironolactone for the remaining hair and hope it’ll help.

Hi - I’ve been getting electrolysis for quite some time (full face including lips). I haven’t experienced any scarring or putting like your pic shows but I read on another forum that microneedling or plasma pens can correct the pitting/scarring. Pricing seems to be similar to electrolysis.
