Electrolysis on face/armpits

I suffer from PCOS and have tried laser hair removal 10 years ago with seemingly more hair growth after the sessions. I was getting ingrowns on my neck and it was quite embarrassing. I went to the dermatologist to see about getting a cream to stop hair growth but she recommended looking into laser again now that I’m on a medication to balance my hormones. I looked into a local place and it was so expensive! I was so bummed out but didn’t give up searching for a more affordable place. While I was searching for affordable laser hair removal, I came across a local woman who does electrolysis. I sent in an email enquiring about what it is. She called almost immediately and said if I would like t come in for a consultation, I could start treatments that same day. Told me not to wax or pluck anymore hairs and we scheduled the appointment for two weeks later. In the meantime, I found a doctors office who performed cheap laser hair removal. Thousands and thousands less than I was quoted initially. I decided to schedule an appointment with this dr as well even though it was an hour away. My areas of concern weren’t limited to my face. My legs and bikini area were always getting bad ingrowns and razor burn. I ended up going to the electrolysis appointment and she did a 30 min session on me. She tackled the chin and part of the upper lip and immediately I felt relief. I did swell up and looked a bit gross that day but I didn’t care! The hair barely grew back so I went in a few days later for her to finish my upper lip and touch up the neck. Amazing results! I’ve had about 6-8 sessions so far on face, neck, breasts, sideburns and tummy and eyebrows. I’m virtually hair free now in my problem areas. I hate to calculate what it has cost me because I live in an expensive city but it is so worth it! And she’s such a sweet woman who made me feel comfortable the entire time. Ive decided that I want to have her tackle my armpits next. Why not!

As for the laser hair removal for legs and bikini, I cannot be more pleased! One session on their diode 810 machine and I have so much hair reduction it’s unbelievable. The hair barely grows in and even when it does, it’s soft and lighter. No more ingrowns or shaving bumps. I go in for my second laser appt feb 1st so I’ll update with my results. Mind you, I never tan so I didn’t have any complications with burning or scarring. Barely any swelling afterwards either.

I’m so happy with my results. Expensive but worth it. I haven’t shaved in a month.

Love the results so far. My bikini area was so irritated all the time. Can’t wait for second laser treatment
