Electrolysis

ORIGINAL POST

Electrolysis

WORTH IT$480
I can not recommend electrolysis enough.
Before electrolysis I had 10 sessions of laser which did nothing, no signs of hair removal at all. I tried multiple clinics and they tried multiple sessions but not one “professional” tweezed a hair out to find out I have white roots. (My hairs are ash blonde/grey looking.
At my first electrolysis I appointment the first thing the lady did was tweeze a hair out and said yep you have white roots so laser will never work.. so basically I wasted lots of money and time.
I started electrolysis in April have visited the salon 6 times in total.
The first session was confronting as I didn’t expect it be so painful. It took 1 hour and 45 mins to get all my hairs in one arm pit. My shoulder was cramped and sore and my arm pit was swollen and red. During this session the lady also told me that I have 3 hairs from the one follicle and she has never seen it before in her 40 years of doing this procedure so she was unsure how they would grow back.
The same happened for my second session one week later on my other arm pit which took just under 2 hours. Due to having some more hair on that arm pit.
My next session was much easier. I was told not to shave between sessions and to treat my arm pits as open wounds meaning no sweating and no deodorant. I did just that and my hairs grew back much weaker and thinner. This time it took only 45 mins to do one arm pit and the pain was much more manageable although my shoulder still cramped from holding my arm up.. The same occurred for my fourth session (second session on other arm pit)
For my 5th session i was able to tolerate the pain and do both arm pits which took 30 mins each. By now I have noticed hardly any hair growth and the hairs that have grown back are super thin and weak and can barely be noticed.
By my 6th session I have next to nothing left and it is just a touch up to get those final hairs.
I was charged $80 per session (it is $80per hour on her price list) but she just charged me $80 each time which I was happy with as every session went over an hour.
I am pleased to say that this experience has been a positive one and I can’t recommend this treatment enough for those who can’t have laser. I am doing my bikini line next so hopefully I have the same positive experience.

Hello,

I was wondering how do you know that the location is prominent, and there will be minor/no mess ups. I am hoping to educate myself before having a procedure like this one.
So the hair never grow again after two years?
Which state are you based in?
