Three years post op

rhinoplasty with Dr. Jabor con't

I will add more pictures as soon as I have access to my pc. There is not much that can be done in regards to my experience with Dr. Jabor, however I would like for everyone to do there research not only on the procedure, but also how qualified and skilled the physician is in doing facial plastic surgery. Also talk to previous patients to see how the physician handled any issues.

I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Jabor in El Paso,...

I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Jabor in El Paso, Texas in 2013 because I was unhappy with the size of the nose. It wasnt in proportion with the rest of my features. Dr. Jabor said he could reduce the length and refine the tip. About 5 months post surgery and after shots to help with uneven swelling, my nose was starting to look crooked and to take on a polybeak look. The tip of my nose got larger and slanted to the left. I was told the procedure thicken my skin duec to scarring and because of the thickness of my skin pre-op. However, pre-op, I was told that my skin wasn't "too thick" and would respond well. well the procedure. Dr. Jabor recognized that there were problem areas; he agreed with my observations, however the only solution offered to me was a derma filler at a discount. I took the offer because the state of my nose was too much for me to be okay with and I didn't have money to go to a different surgeon for a revision. Over two years later, I have not being able to get it corrected and hate the "gonzo" look it has. I am sad, angry, and disappointed in the lack of care from Dr. Jabor. I didn't expect a perfect nose after the procedure, but I didn't expect a nose that looks worse than pre-op. Aside from the uneven tip, I have a hanging collumela, very obvious scars, missing cartilage on the tip, thickened skin, thick scars inside my nostrils, droopy tip, and overall my nose is still very big.
After the derma filler was offered to me as the only correction option, it was obvious that this physician wasn't going to correct the horrible job he did. I have consulted three other plastic surgeons regarding a revision and all have agreed that a revision is highly recommended.

I was left completely unsatified with the lack of care for the bad outcome of the procedure. Dr. Jabor didn't seem concered with how traumatizing it is to have one of the most prominent features on a person's face to be left looking a horrible mess.
