Breasts Implants Seem to Be Dropping Too Low and Too Far Inward? - El Paso, TX

Hello. I am a week past 3 months post op from breast augmentation. I had 425CC silicone gel, under the muscle, crease incision, w/ mentor moderate plus profile implants. It appears the my implants are dropping too low (more so on the right side) as well as moving inward which is causing the skin to lift... Maybe the beginning of symmastia? Is it possible these problems will correct with further healing or am I in need of a revision? Also, could this be because my implants are too wide for my frame?

They look good to me!!! If you see mine, you will probably notice a similar thing. Not close together but dropped like that. If you are terribly concerned, you should ask the doctors! The PS's on this website are very helpful ;) Ir ask your PS...But you look good!!!

your implants look very full: it doesn't look like your going to have symmastia to me. i personally think they look fine; i would just wear a very tight supported bra if you dont want them to drop anymore than they already have!

I agree with your perception in that they appear to have dropped too far down. Also, the implants appear to be too large in diameter for your chest. This is just my opinion however.

3 months post op

So I'm exactly 3 months post op now... I had done my math wrong on the initial post, oops. They seem to be evening out a bit, but still low on my chest :/ I'm hoping they'll "fluff" a little and it won't be as noticeable.

I think your concern is valid! Check with your PS ASAP. I think when we spend this kind of money, there is no room for disappointment. Having said that, you do look good :)

Revision is set- Downsizing and pocket repair.

ItsBrittany
I just met my Dr. today and we have decided revision is the best course of action. I am going to be downsizing from 425CC to 375CC (most likely) and changing from moderate plus profile to high profile. Additionally, I may switch from mentor silicone memory gel to saline implants (to get a little more projection), but I haven't made any final decisions yet. I will also be receiving sutures to repair the pocket after bottoming out the first time around. I hope everything goes smoothly and I finally get the results I am looking for!!

Excuse my ignorance. To me you good great and I don't really see any issue...so is it really a medical issue or that more your expectation is not met? Thx!

Thank you, I appreciate that! However, yes I need a revision. It is hard to capture in my cell phone photos... but they have bottomed out and I have tenting or slight symnastia. The implants I have are simply much to wide for my frame, they don't fit. If I don't get revision, they will continue to migrate lower & lower, which will probably damage my tissue and require a much more intrusive revision down the road.
