So far so good!
So as of today I still have clear skin (knock on wood!) I do get occasional tiny white heads but it’s seldom and nothing like what I had before. My back and joints are feeling a whole lot better and the dryness is minimal. I recently moved to Colorado and it is a very dry climate so I attribute the dry skin and lips to that because before I moved here I barely needed the aquaphor and super thick cream anymore. The rash I had eventually went away but it come back on my face, chest, arms, and back, last week after traveling to a few places (my skin is super sensitive to everything even before accutane). It’s slowly clearing up though, now the only problem is the scaring! It’s not bad but eventually I want to work on that. Other than that I am so elated with my results, it has been worth the hell!!
2 weeks Post Accutane and rash on face
About a week after being off of Accutane I developed a rash on my face, it is all over even on and behind my ear. The itch is not rally unbearable but it’s bothersome because the rash has my skin feeling so rough and I’m not sure why it’s even there? I had y final visit with me Derm and she said it may be something I used on my hair or just my oils trying to regenerate and my skin is just reacting a little oddly t it. I hope that is all it is and that it owes away ASAP! Other than that things are looking good and m not having to use as much aquaphor on my lips throughout he day. And my skin seems to be getting a tiny bit more moisture to it.
Took my last Accutane pill!
Last night was officially my last pill! I? am so happy to be off of this medication it has been rough but I’m so pleased with my results! Now to work on the scarring! These past few weeks have been off I? guess because it’s getting colder and the atmosphere is dryer than usual so I’ve been getting rashes and eczema all over my arms and hands. So I have to apply super thick cream and a product that a friend makes several times throughout the day in order to minimize the itching and dryness. Other than that my Derm prescribed me a topical ointment to start applying once my natural moisture comes back to help with he scarring. I’m nervous with the possibility of the acne coming back again because I? don’t think I’d do the regimen again if it did so I’m hoping it stays away!
