Revised tummy tuck perhaps

Considering a revised tummy tuck to remove dog ears and skin that should have been removed but not sure what surgeon…thoughts?

I still have not posted my story, I’m waiting to hear if my doc will revise a couple of things from my breast lift and tummy tuck. My tuck didn’t go as far around the side as yours, so the extra skin on my hip is noticeable to me, and I’m considering having him extend it to grab that extra skin. I am feeling really sad about the healing because he couldn’t get it far enough to remove the old belly button, so it’s a slit but it puckers weird. The skin is a little loose now, so he can revise and remove it. It’s just a matter if he wants to do it.
I really appreciate you sharing your journey. The scarring was not what I expected and the surgeon could have done a couple things differently, so I’m struggling with the results a bit.

Also you look really great! I should have said that first, but you really look fantastic. We tend to be hardest on ourselves, especially when we make an investment like this.

4 years later and no regrets
As I look back I realize this was one of the best decisions I made. If it will make a lifetime of change and happiness I say do it! It is painful, costly, and takes time to actually show u the results u desire but worth it if u take care of your investment. Expect to maintain it forever otherwise u might as well throw your money in the trash.

15 month milestone
Not many changes here. But I will say I still have some bad swelling days, and u figured out its due to poor nutrition. When I feed my body the right foods, the swelling subsides and my digestive system is on point. I am not happy w my mons area, as I still have excess skin but I know my surgeon did not want to change my anatomy which I totally appreciate. I am a bit self conscious about the bulge but I will live. I noticed a bulge on my lower abdomen, and is worse like I said w poor diet. I read about edema and seroma so I'm not quite sure. What I do know is that it prevents me from wearing dresses that are not forgiving of those type of imperfections:(. All I can do is ask a surgeon for his/her professional opinion.

You look absolutely amazing!!! I hope you are happy with all your results. I know I had ideas of how things would look but the reality is a bit different... I can't control hypertrophic scars and swelling. But I can do the best I can to keep my results looking the way they do. You have found that and have crazy amazing results!!! Awesome!!
You look amazing! Can you please show us what you mean by the swelling now? I Think I have something similar above my pelvic in the lower portion of my abdomen. I gave a small vertical incision... Thanks for your review!
I think you look gorgeous!! I don't see the bulge you're talking about. But maybe lips on that area would be beneficial? But still love your results!

I was like lips lol!!! He actually did lipo. But it's skin since he pulled down and not up. When I gained weight my mons got fat too haha!!! He removed a little but I wish it was just flat u know what I mean?
You are looking fabulous. Thank you for sharing your whole story with us. It is good to see that someone else experienced most everything I am experiencing and came through it just fine. I have been a bit frustrated with my results at the eight month mark, still have so much swelling and extra skin on the ends of my incision. I am waiting to have revision someday soon and sure hope it fixes the issues I am having. I think the picture in our minds of the "result" is a little different then it actually turns out. I am happy to see that you are looking so good and obviously feeling beautiful and confident!! You should be proud. You look great! ;)
