Hello everyone! It’s been quite a journey since I last updated, many life changes but here is what I’m sure you all are interested in… the boob update!
It’s just shy of 9 years since I had my BA and I still feel it was the best decision I’ve ever made. My confidence has had such a lift since I had them and especially now that I’m comfortable with them. My bra size keeps fluctuating and I’m now a 32DDD and I’ve been a 34DD as well. Luckily my weight hasn’t changed over the years I believe I was just sized incorrectly. One major win about having a BA is I no longer wear bras with underwire and I can go bra-less with nipple covers. They have settled beautifully and haven’t sagged because I wear a sports bra to sleep in and try to wear a bra at all times.
Health wise I would warn that having bigger breasts definitely causes some back strain, my shoulders tend to close in as well and I have a habit of slouching because of it. I also developed some small tumors in my arm pit area which were checked and are benign. Though it isn’t necessarily because of the implants that the tumors grew, it could be because of having the implants. My doctor is keeping an eye on them either way. I sometimes think that I could have that implant illness because I suffer from headaches daily and my doctors haven’t been able to find a real reason for me having them, at this point who knows? I’d keep my implants anyway if I’m being honest. lol
Other than that, I did have a car accident a couple years back that caused my “implant capsule” on my left side to rupture which in turn caused the implant on that side to drop just a bit lower. No rupture on the implants. I get checked every year and i recommend you to do the same. I’m not planning on changing out the implants until I’m forced to, my BA doctor did mention that I didn’t have to as long as there were no tears in the implant. Let’s hope for 40 plus years!
Here’s a couple of updated pictures too! If you’re on the fence, do it! I tell everyone I know, if you can afford it then it’s worth it! :)

Almost 3 years post op and I still love them!
I haven’t updated in quite some time but here’s a quick update. I’m currently sitting at a 32DD and have had no complications what so ever. They finally look and feel more natural except for the fact that they’re very perky (which we know is hard to find in a natural woman) I feel like they’re the right size for my body type and the end goal that I envisioned. It’s been a roller coaster ride since having the procedure done and there are a few things I would point out for those still considering breast augmentation.
1. You will have a love/hate relationship with them. I went through the classic boob greed in the beginning and wondered if I went too small. Later on I started to feel that maybe I went too large... all of this I would consider to be normal since our self body image probably changes everyday lol. In the end I’m definitely happy with the size but I am considering going smaller when I eventually have them redone far off in the future.
2. Since I was so petite and flat chested to begin with it took me a while for my breast implants to drop and soften up. I would literally say it took almost the full 3 years for my chest not to feel so tight and now they feel more natural and “squishy”. Most wouldn’t think I’ve had them done unless they new me before.
3. I have no stretch marks but my surgery scars didn’t fade too much... I would say this depends on your skin type. I know my skin does well with stretching but my scars take a while to disappear, I learned this due to my pregnancy and c-section.
4. Be happy with yourself! I’m not a psychiatrist or anything like that but I’ve learned if you don’t already love yourself then no surgery is going to fix that. Yes you’ll feel better for a while but it won’t last! Make sure you do this for yourself... and not for anyone else.
5. Do your research before deciding if you want the surgery. Make sure you look at many different doctors, especially they’re before and after results. Get consultations! Price isn’t everything, like they say you get what you pay for. I did go with a pricier surgeon but he did excellent work and I’ll never regret spending the money that I did.
Other than that... no regrets here. I’ll try my best to post new pictures soon... If there are any questions feel free to ask!

7 months post
Time is flying by and they feel normal, yay!
I realized that I never updated after my
Drs visit last month... But I am relieved to say everything is looking amazing! I can't believe it's already been 6 months with these boobs!
I was concerned about them dropping too much but the dr confirmed that they are in the right place, I have my breast fold lower than what he had initially estimated but that's ok! Both the right and the left breast are now about even in placement and they are both squishy!! I'm so happy with my results... No more concerns here... He also mentioned that since I have darker scarring because of my skin color that the scars should be faded by my 1 year mark. Oh and no more nipple sensitivity for the most part... Other than when it's that time of the month... Yay!
Sizing I did end up at a 32DD in bras... Sometimes I think I could still use a larger cup but these fit comortably :) they turned out larger than what I had initially wanted (full C to d) but I am loving them... No regrets! Especially when I'm just walking around in a sports bra! I've never been able to do that before... Without being self conscious anyway.
Well that's all I have for now! If any questions please let me know :) I'm happy to help!
