34, 2 Children, Not Worth It! - El Paso, TX

In 2013, I just had my second child and breastfeeding , though rewarding, left my breasts very deflated. I went in to El Paso Cosmetic Surgery located in the west side of El Paso, Texas for a consultation. The staff and Doctor were very friendly; and the experience was very positive during the consultation. About two months later I had the procedure done and I was anything but satisfied. My implants were two times smaller than anticipated and I have horrible uneven scars under my breasts, plus my nipples weren't/arent the same size. I contacted the facility and during a follow up I informed the doctor that I wasn't satisfied he advised me to wait a couple of months.

Update: Three years have passed and my scars are still present and I'm still extremely disappointed that I had the procedure.

I also went to dr. Sozer. He did a horrible job on me. My scars are so ugly it's embarrassing! I hate that I ever went to him.

It's a very traumatic experience and it's been a couple years and my scars still hurt and my breasts look horrible. I see all these positive reviews and I'm sorry to hear about your experience.

Yes I saw all the good reviews and thought he had to be good at what he did. Of course AFTER I had surgery I realized lots of the reviews could've been fake. Since than I've talked to a handful of women that he has done this to. Not to mention the Texas medical board, people have died under his care. It's just ridiculous that he is still in business! It breaks my heart to know that he doesn't feel bad for what he does!

Unfortunately any plastic surgeon has very little control over the process of scar healing. Any surgery that requires an incision creates a scar, and the body starts to heal the scar 24 hours a day 7 days a week which can take up to 12 month to heal. At that time the scar has matured and one will know how it will look pretty much for the rest of one's life. Unfortunately the healing process is out of the control of any plastic surgeon and the way scars heal has a lot to do with aftercare and each individual's body and skin for example; does the body heal quickly or slowly, and there are many more other considerations which affect wound healing. The body's healing response can be altered somewhat by using a good silicone based scar cream, or undergoing laser or steroid injection treatments to minimize scarring but even then the body might react with a thicker even more unsightly scar ( e.g. keloids). Unfortunately a scar is a scar and a necessary part of any surgery that required an incision and will never completely disappear.

Thanks for your medical advice BEANH, but what do you contribute my unsymmetrical areola size, him putting in the wrong implants, and the two zig zag incisions underneath my breasts too?

My medical advise is.. Well I guess I can't give you any because #1 I'm not a doctor LOL. My areola's are not the same size either. The Lipo he did on me left dents, when I wear a fitted shirts you can see all the dents. Of course you will have a scar, but a good plastic surgeon will give you the best results possible, if not than what's the point in having surgery if you end up looking worse? I hope things get better for you Drocha00 :)

Well said BEANH, spoken AND explained like a true medical processional. Thanks for that short lesson. So many of us are not medically trained and may not understand what's going wrg with our body. So what you are saying...its actually NOT the fact that Sozer did a bad job on E-VER-Y one complaining of bad results 2-5 yrs post surgery...we are just medically uneducated?

I would say Im sorry for your experience but you've heard that enough...and probably not from the people responsible for you paid and bad results. What I will say is this, there are quote a few of us havimg the same unresolved, unremourseful experience with man. I won't say Dr b/c I address that title to people worth of being called doctor. TX med board should have records of complaints. I moved and came BACK to TX just to seek restitution.

I've read several posts of people wanting proof of Dr. Sozers botched medical procedures and several patients protecting the doctor and his staff. It's actually very hard for me to even look at my breasts because they are uneven, are two implant size too small, my scar tissue is bigger than one of my areola, and my areolas are not symmetrical.

Mine are also uneven and the scars are huge. They feel and look like they are under my armpit.

I don't think he takes pride in his work. He did a terrible job on my grandmothers facelift and she paid soo much for it.

I don’t understand how he continues to o tho to his patients!! I warn EVERYONE I know about him!!! I even had a couple of people tell me how thankful they were that they don’t go to him. after they researched him they were glad they didn’t make a mistake in trusting a doctor that orang think twice about botching people!!!
