I am writing this in hopes to get advice from other ladies, and document my experience. And maybe this will help someone else one day :). I have picked my surgeon already, his name is dr Jonathan toy. He has excellent reviews and he is one of the top surgeons here in Edmonton . I instantly knew he was the one as soon as we met, he made me feel so comfortable and he explained everything to the point of me not really even needing to ask him anything. We have decided on 295ccs round moderate smooth silicone under the muscle inframammary incision. He said with that size it should bring me to a big C or a small D, I'm having second thoughts on the size though.. I wonder if I should go a little bigger, this will sound weird but I hate saying I'm getting 295ccs I would rather say I have 300ccs. But the dr said 295 moderate is the most I should do. I got a package in the mail today with my surgery date (June 29) which is weird cause we agreed on July 5th so I'm not sure why they changed it without asking. They also never sent me a time. I will have to call Monday to figure it out...

What I'm working with now ????

I'm currently a 32B. I have never really taken pictures of my boobs before, but now that I have one looks bigger then the other in the pictures...? Do I need a bigger implant in the right side? My dr said everything looks great... Maybe he didn't notice? Maybe I'm overreacting!

HELP!

Ok ladies my surgery is 5 days, any advice on what to buy before hand, that would make recovery better!?

Pre-op done!

Well I had my pre op on June 30th. Everything went well, still going with the 295. I'm really worried it will be to large on my frame. I really loved the 260 it felt comfortable wearing the sizer. But I'm going under the muscle and they with shrink about 5% I guess? I got my prescriptions filled, this is all feeling so real now. I'm having such a hard time sleeping at night in so excited but so scared at the same time. Just have a question, I live an hour and a half away from the surgery centre, best off getting a hotel? Or will the drive be ok?

Hellooo from the otherside!

Well let me start off by saying Dr Toy and his staff are amazing. He is so real and kind and gentle, I would recommend him to anyone undergoing this procedure. I only had my surgery a few hours ago and the pain is very minimal, hoping it stays that way.

1 day post op

Hi everybody, I'm still feeling pretty great surprisingly. On a scale from 1-10 I would say I'm about a 2. I can do almost everything on my own, I can take myself to the washroom, I can even put pull over shirts on. Hopefully the pain stays where it's at and doesn't get worse, I hear that day 3 is painful... I go in tomorrow for a check up hopefully everything looks good! So far I'm really happy with the results, I can't wait for them to drop and fluff and hopefully come closer together. One of my main concerns with getting this operation is i DID NOT want a gap. My surgeon told me I will have a tiny gap that a finger should fit nicely between them. And I'm ok with that.. When can I start putting loation on?

Almost 3 days post op.

Well ladies I am now experiencing the "bloat" it is very real. I have not had a bowel movement since my surgery day which was on the 5th... hoping something happens today, because I'm up 5 pounds so far :( . I had my first post op check up yesterday, he said everything is looking great and to come back in 6 weeks! Also he wants me to start massaging them on Sunday. Which I'm kinda nervous about, I feel like the incision won't be ready for that...

4 days post-op

Can anyone see a difference yet? I feel I still look the same..

11 days post-op

Still feeling good. I think they are starting to come together more, which makes me super happy :)

3 weeks post-op

4 weeks post-op

My boobs are finally feeling more real now, each day they seem to get softer. I can now sleep on my side with no discomfort. I find it weird how big my implants look while naked or in a swim suit, but in clothing I look the same as before. Love it though cause my family has not noticed :)

Incisions at 4 weeks

I'm not sure if they look good or bad at this point.. It's still pretty early..

Edmonton Plastic Surgeon

I would highly recommend Dr. Jonathan Toy to anyone wanting a breast augmentation. From the moment I met with him I knew he would be my surgeon. He was so knowledgable and made such an uncomfortable subject easy to talk about. The ladies upfront were also nice to deal with, anytime I emailed them with a question they responded back quickly. Im only one day post-op but my results are fantastic so far.
