Core/ab work ......

Gonna apologize in advance if this gets double posted - I have no idea what happened to my original post :p
My PS recommended I wait till 3 months before stating any ab/core work. I'm almost at the 3 mth mark and am looking for any ideas for getting back into core work post surgery. Obviously start off slower and work up to full core ... is there a "routine" you used to start?
Thanks for any feedback :)

2 months post revision

Not sure if I'm just having a bad day but I hate the way my body looks and wish I would have not started this whole surgery ordeal! Prior to the first surgery I had the loose skin and it wasn't attractive in the nude but when I put clothes on I was ok! I fit comfortably into a size 6/7 and was a consistent 152 - 155 lbs ..... After the first surgery I gained 15 lbs and ballooned up to a size 9/10 .... Quite the opposite of what one would expect following a tummy tuck!
Fast forward a year - post revision and I'm still hanging onto the extra weight and look awful in any kind of pants!
I'm posting a pic taken this morning when I woke up and I can't believe how gross I look in my jeans :( I love wearing jeans and it brings me to tears looking at myself in the mirror....
Oh how I wish I had had a crystal ball a year ago prior to going through all this!

Help with swelling....

Does anyone know if using an infrared saunas help with swelling? Any feedback welcome :)
