Hello,
Thank you for your time. I got implants at age 24, going from AAA/AA size up to large C. They looked great and I had no complications. However after 2 children breastfed to 18 months each, 12 years later (now 36 years old) and I have a ton of extra skin and breast tissue. I also have a lot of neck/back pain and headaches. I'm tired of the the size which is now likely a 38DD/DDD (never actually sized myself properly). When I am out in public I am compressing them with a sports bra, when at home going braless for pain relief. My skin isn't very elastic and I have stretch marks stomach and breast tissue. I also now have much more breast tissue or ? extra skin that I never had before. I am very active and they are getting in the way of activities I enjoy. I also miss lying on my stomach, hugging people closely, and fitting into clothes nicely. I have gone from hiding my chest because too small, to hiding my chest because too big. What options do I have if I don't want to reimplant? I've attached photos of before implants, after implants/before kids (sorry no naked photos found) and then currently. Note that I often wore padded bras to hide nipples, before and after implant.... after implant it made them look a bit bigger in certain pics. Now I wear any bra that will lift and flatten! Consult booked in November!

The right PS can do wonders. My PS said he could do fat transfer if I wanted but urged me to consider waiting six months to a year after lift (in your case removal and lift). He said fat grafting tends to be more reliable and successful in tissue that isn't traumatized. In the best circumstances you retain 50-60% but in a traumatic environment would be less he says. That leaves you more susceptible to uneven results, oil cysts and necrosis. Lots of risks for the money in my opinion. Shape is way more important than size don't you agree? I was amazed at what my Dr did with the mess I had. Team A cup all the way here. My husband thinks I'm fu NY because I call them my Kate Hudson boob's Hahaahahahah. Hey good luck! I'll be cheering you on!

Thank you so much for your encouragment! How come you decided not to do a lift right away?

My nipple was well above the fold line. We decided to he conservative and wait to see what was there. Plus my implants were so big that waiting gave time for the space where they were to heal and improve blood supply to nipples.

Thank you for showing the changes with breast implants after children. Your current ba looks very natural. I recently just had a ba/BL and was wondering what could happen if I got pregnant again. I was advised from my ps not to have the lift until I'm done having kids.. but hey I think I would've wanted them before kids lol !!

My meeting with Dr. Toy was everything I hoped it would be. On exam he noted that it would be necessary to do the lift after the explant due to the amount of tissue stretched and how much the implants have bottomed out. He also stated that it is a very likely cause of the neck/rib/chest pain.
I'm actually a size E/F and so when I said I would be happy with a B, I realized most likely a small C (since I thought I was a DD/DDD).
He can do the fat grafting from my flanks along with the lift. I also had him look at if I lost weight or not if he thought my abdomen would get any better. He said no and would require a tummy tuck (TT). Quotes for the procedures=
Option 1) TT = $10,900+
Option 2) Explant and Lift= $9,900+
Option 3) TT, Explant and Lift= $18,500+
Option 4) Explant, Lift and Lipo/Fat grafting from flank to breast= $15,000+
Option 5) TT, Explant, Lift and Lipo/Fat grafting from flank to breast= $21,000+

I originally wasn't going to do the TT but after meeting with Dr Toy and seeing the pricing and considering time off work I've decided to treat myself to Option 5.

My surgery is booked January 23 and I'm so excited to get these saline balls out of my body!
