Update-Edmonton
I had my surgery at the meadowlark plastic surgery clinic in Edmonton. Surgery was performed by Dr Gordon Louie. I didn't know what to expect. This was my first Plastic surgery procedure but second major surgery. The clinic was immaculate and the ladies and man had amazing bedside manner. They were all very nice, had everything lined up that I would ask for :bathrobes, bathroom, drink, prescription for my husband to get while waiting etc. they made my husband feel good about the surgery as he was worried. I met with the a nurse and the anastesiogist. They answered all my questions. Dr Louie took before photos and measured me and then showed me in the mirror. He asked me again what outcome I wanted. I started around a B34. I didn't choose the size. I gave him instructions to make me proportional to my hips/shoulders. Not to be cheap as they cost a lot and I didn't want to be top heavy or have people notice me for my breasts. He asked if I preferred defined upper pole fullness and I said no. I want the natural look. He clarified some things to make sure he understood. I then got taken in to the surgery room. I got nervous at that point. The nurse explained that I was to sit on the bed and I froze. For some reason the bed scared me. It was a 'T' shape with a hole for bathroom stuff. She laughed and said the hole wasn't for me. I got a hair net and layed down. My arms were strapped to the bed. I was given an IV and asked again what is your name, what are you here for and sailing or silicon. The same people asked this several times. I liked that. So I said my name, BA, silicon. I was given oxygen and remember thinking is this really oxygen and then I was out.
I woke up in the recovery room. Very blurry vision, I couldn't make out the faces. The bed was comfy and warm. I was asked how I felt and if I felt naseauses. I said no and quickly recanted my statement by asking for a bucket. I dry heaved immediately a few times. I was was given gravol in my IV and oxygen in my nose and a smelly pad. I felt better pretty fast. I was very sleepy and had trouble staying awake. I heard the nurse telephone my husband. I heard my husband on the intercom coming to pick me up. I remember the nurse telling me instructions and asking her to write it down and tell my husband as I feel I am not paying attention. She laughed and said he is getting the instructions now and it is written down. I remember my left arm hurt like I had an extreme work out or maybe hung from it for an hour? It felt achy and tired, there was tightness between my breasts. That's it. The nurse dressed me and put me in a wheel chair, no arms allowed for strength only stability. I felt it instantly when trying to do the slightest thing with my arm. I was still having trouble seeing clearly and felt drunk and naseausous. They put me in our vehicle and said see you tomorrow. I dry heaved again- sent me home with bowl, paper towel, bag for ride home. Also gave me gauze.
I was fine the first day, I slept a dead stoned. I didn't even have to pee with all the water I drank
I went back to the next day after going to a restaurant for breakfast. Then shopping for an hour or two. I wasn't allowed to shower until two days later. Besides funny muscle spasms I have no pain. I just feel strange and my nipples are sore.
I got allergan, naturelle silicon HP 415 for each breast.
My thoughts now at 5 days post are they are big compared to before but not big for me. They match my body at 5'11 155lbs. My hips do not look large to me anymore. Yay! I am nervous to go back to work in two days (1 week post op). I work with all men and blunt ones. Trying to find a shirt that doesn't show the surgical bra and gauze. I have to wear the bra for 4 weeks total. It's a nice bra but unlined and my nipples are erect from everything that happened. I was given 3 in different colours. The gauze is to protect from the band rubbing/pulling on the taped stitches on the mammory fold. It's necessary.
I feel like they are not inside of me but rather strapped very tightly to me. When the bra is off there is a different feeling. A heaviness feeling. They do look awesome. Can't wait until everyone is settled and like can resume like normal.
I hope this helps anyone out there. Yes I highly recommend Dr Louie and the meadowlark clinic.

Dr Lobay
Has anyone used Dr Lobay for a breast augmentation? I am seeing him for a consult in 2 weeks. I cannot find a review with photos.
Any one else find it strange that it is hard to...
Any one else find it strange that it is hard to find information on almost all of the Edmonton surgeons in regards to photo of their work, etc for a breast augmentation . I like how Dr chong has a website to look at. I want to know about Dr.Toy, Dr. Mariusz sapijaszko and Dr. Lobby.
Anyone use these surgeons for a BA? Would you recommend them? What was your experience?
I know of a great surgeon in Windsor used by my family members but I am unsure about being so far away if I need to go back, etc.
