I was excited to hear about xeomin from a friend of mine who had already had it a couple of times. I had botox multiple times in the past and also used dysport once a few years ago. I was hesitant to try a new person injecting because I had been with the previous one for years. My friend told me a little about xeomin and I decided to schedule an appointment to ask some questions first. I don't have many friends that do these things so I didn't have many people to ask about it. I went in for a consultation and I was educated on the product and the procedure. I was glad that it was similar to botox since dysport was different. I think I had 150units and the cost was different. She told me that the difference was that it was a purified version of what botox is. I laughed because isn't botulinum a poison? So it's a purified poison. She told me that there wasn't any impurities and that its the same active ingredient as botox and dysport. She also asked me if I took advil or if I took motrin. Took me a minute to see where she was going with that. They are both ibuprofen. I went ahead with being treated the same day because she had time and she also told me that they had a $50 rebate card with it too. I think that's the first time I had any kind of rebate on a procedure at a doctors office. The procedure was simple and was done within 10 minutes. She gave me a card with a number in it to register online which I did as soon as I got back to the office. I didn't take any pictures and I didn't ask for her to give me the ones she took. I guess I'll take some next time I go back in. I've been fortunate to get longer than the normal results with the products I've used in the past so I'm told I should expect the same with xeomin. I'm writing this after I was injected because I ran across this site when reading about products. It's now late August and I don't see any lines back yet. So far so good. That's about 2 and half months so far. I was also told upon injection that it's common to have quicker results with this product. I can say that within 7 days I was completely wrinkle free. It was funny because I was looking in the mirror every day and I'm pretty sure I started feeling it within the first couple days. And I don't notice that real heavy feeling I had with botox. Maybe that's just a weird coincidence. When I use my $50 card on my next treatment I'll have to see if I get it then. I will add additional comments in a month when I get the reminder. I will also start from day one when I go back to be injected
