Unfortunate Experience - Very Sad - Edison, NJ

I had been wanting a conservative procedure to...

I had been
wanting a conservative procedure to correct a bump on my nose and a
slightly droopy tip for some time. I saw a few different surgeons and
Dr. Miller seemed to understand what I wanted: a subtle change. No bump
and a slightly lifted tip. Well, I ended up with many more changes to my
nose than discussed, as well as unexpected changes to my upper lip. I
now no longer look like myself and actually look much worse than before.
If you want something subtle please proceed carefully.

Really depressed...

I was really hoping that my nose would get better with time but it hasn't. It is getting worse - crooked, wonky, flat on one side, it looks terrible. This was my worst fear about having this surgery, which is why I put it off for so long. These 4 months have been so stressful. I am so scared about what to do next. I am terrified of having another surgery and not thrilled about the cost, but I don't think I can deal with looking like this forever. If you are thinking about having this surgery, please don't. I regret it every day...

Nice enough man but didn't listen to what I wanted. I am not sure what the point of a consultation is if you are going to end up with whatever nose the Dr. feels like giving you that day. Your face is something you have to look at for the rest of your life and a Dr. should be respectful of what the patient requests within reason. If there are unrealistic expectations this should be discussed first so there are no surprises later. I would have never done this if I was aware how much was going to be done ahead of time. I have unfortunately learned the hard way...
