Swelling is going down gradually, not sure how much still to go. I can still draw my stomach in loads to make it flat. Why is that possible?? Seeing my PS on Monday hope he can put my mind at rest!!Still much better than before but still want to keep it hidden :( xx

Thanks Jazzybee, can u get Into then now, and do they fit or too big? I can't stop worrying :( X

I was going to say exactly the same as Jazzybee. Stretchy ones after about 5 weeks and the rest of them at 9/10 weeks plus lol. You are still so swollen and you will be for a good few weeks yet. Patience girlie, patience xx

Looking really good. Your bruising is going fast. Did you have lipo in the end?? My ps insists on lipo with a TT but they're all different. I wasn't able to wear jeans for 4-5 weeks and even now they feel tight and strange (7 weeks out)rubbing on you numb belly. Lol. Patience is not easy but chill, it's all normal and there's no rush. Just look after yourself as you only get one shot at this. Take care :)

Hi Bubbah, you look amazing. I did get some lipo nothing extreme. I didn't pay but he did what was necessary so that was a surprise when I woke up. Can u tell me if you can still draw you tummy in quite a bit? I do this and wish that is how it looks all the time. Anyway I look loads better than before so far but still have a pop belly that I want to cover up. I hope this changes. I would be over the moon with your results. Enjoy and continue to heal well x

Hey hun, how are you getting on?
September 29, 2014
Hi Jazzy, I am doing good thanks. You look absolutely fab, and getting fit as well I am sooo jealous. I am at 5 weeks now. My energy levels have improved the last few days. I went back to work last week and was soo swollen in the afternoon. The same today so it's hard to know what to wear as things got better in the morning. I am happy with my results but not as happy as I thought I would be, I think my expectations we too high. I see so many pics of really Flat tummys and wonder why it's not me. I could not wear a Lycra dress or anything but I still have a major improvement. I think my surgeon had an idea that my remaing muscles would not be gr8 and did tell me I would have to excersice them in time. I guess the shape I was it was inevitable not many starting pics are like mine:). I am glad I have had it done. No regrets at all. I feel a bit like u on my bb, the scar round it makes it look big, but once it fades it will be much better. I still cant fit into my smaller presurgery jeans/work trousers even in the morning when the swelling looks minimal so Mabey I just won't. I do feel positive that i can improve my results tho with work in a few weeks. I will do an update with pics this week. It was gr8 to read yours so encouraging and u look amazing. Take care x

Aw thanks, look forward to seeing your pics! I really think that we both need to strengthen our muscles, I am gonna wait a year though, not risking ANYTHING LOL!

Feeling a bit up and down. Shape hasn't changed much, swelling has went down a bit but I still cannot fit in my pre surgery clothes. Should I not be in them yet?? I am judging it with my work trousers that I had on just before surgery, I try them on every morning and still cannot get them closed. Still feeling fat and I don't think I will be getting the results I hoped for. I am off to get my dressings changed this morning so will ask the nurse about the swelling. I did not have any painkillers yesterday and none Today so far. I do feel very tender sometimes close to my bb which gets worse later in the day. Will post some pictures later. Hope u are all getting on well x

Feeling not too bad today. Muscles felt sore this morning after laughing last might quite at bit at something on TV. Took paracetamol and Ibroprohen which has helped. Taking paracetamol thought the day but pain not too bad really. Sleeping in bed fine propped up with 4 pillows and no longer need pillow under knees. Cannot sleep on side yet though too painful. Having a nap still during the day but tiredness is getting better. I can stand up straight more or less, a little bit hunched at night when swelling gets worse. I am happy that I have had this done even though I can see that I am not going to be completely flat. Some work will be required on abs once healing is complete. Just bringing the separation together has made a big difference but will have to tone the remaining stretched muscle which a tummy tuck cannot address. My scar is quite high which I knew would be the case before surgery but when I seen it in hospital it looked very neat. My belly button looks weird do I hope it improves. Feeling full quicker when eating which is not a bad thing as I never knew when to stop before. Getting bored at home so hoping to get out tomorrow for lunch or something.
The whole experience so far has been better than I thought it would be. So being prepared for the worst is definitely a good thing. Not had drains or binder or support of any kind and still moving about fine. Happy healing to you all and those still to have it done it's not that bad so don't worry about it.

You are looking good but very swollen too;) You just have to be patient now and ride out the next couple of months!!
August 30, 2014
Thanks, I am very swollen and tight but I still don't think I will be completely flat until I get the all clear for excersise in a few months. I can still draw my tummy in further when standing straight. You look great infact you looked great before surgery and have a washboard tummy now:) x
August 30, 2014
We can all draw our stomachs in further when standing straigh a d I still have a roll when I sit slouched. Ps has said he will send me my official pre operation photos, I don't know if will be able to look at them in all their glory lol. I guess it will be a good thing for me to see though. You more than likely will not 'need' to do ab work, you can so clearly see the swelling you have (it appears so much more obvious when you look at others photos) than when you look at yourself. you will be flat, just you wait and see!!!In my experience the bb was the last thing to heal surprisingly enough. Xx

Great improvement! Now you just have to be patient for a while.... ;-)
August 31, 2014
Thanks Jazzybee, not easy being patient but I am trying. I can wait to see my scar on Tuesday and I will be allowed to have a shower then. I did too much yesterday but will try not too today:) How re you doing? x
