Ears and Nose

I had always been unhappy with the way i looked and since i was 13 i always said i would have cosmetic surgery, I was very self conscious in photos and would hardly have my photo taken but when i started driving it got worse, if i was stopped in the highstreet or at traffic lights and there was people about i would turn my head the other way in case they would be staring at my nose. That's what made me consider having Rhinoplasty done, when i was 19 i started to look into it and i went for a consultation with Dr Quaba.
After the consultation i had made my mind up about going through with the procedure however i also asked if they could perform 2 surgeries at the same time Dr Quaba told me they could so i decided to get my ears pinned back as well (i had always hated how big they were and how they would sometimes stick out through my hair, i never wore my hair up and if i did the ears would be covered by my hair) Quaba told me i would have to make another consultation about that and luckily i got an appointment for the next day this was free as you get a 2nd consultation included in the price of your first one.
My consultations took place in October 2016 and it was about a month or 2 before i got a surgery date in for the 30th March 2017. With the operation approaching my mind started doing overtime as it was a long time to wait and i was thinking if i had mentioned how i want my nose to look like did i say this did i say that etc. so when i had my pre-op the nurse allowed me to book another consultation to discuss any worries or queries i had with Dr Quaba to help put my mind at rest however this cost me an extra £100, i was happy to pay it as i needed to be sure about the whole thing seeing as how this is altering my face!! i had the 3rd consultation and Dr Quaba put my mind to rest and reassured me about everything and i mentioned the things i thought i had forgotten to mention to him before. When i arrived at the hospital everything was done quite quickly the payment was taken and i was shown to my room, the nurse came in not long after and took some tests and to give me my gown and socks, about an hour or two later Dr Quaba came in and went over things again with me and then about 30 mins later i was taken down to surgery. I was in surgery for 4 hours and the aftercare was great nurses kept coming in and checking on me helping me get to the bathroom giving me my breakfast and topping up my water.
Next morning i was able to go home around midday, Mr Quaba came round and checked on me took the bandages off my ears and changed my nose bandages he and gave me fresh bandages to take away with me and also a nose solution i had to do everyday to clean my nose.
I went back after 1 week i think it was to get my ear bandages off and the results were amazing i never took before pictures of my ears as they weren't the main problem but i should of taken pictures because it was such a massive difference and i instantly felt so much better and was glad i made the choice to get the ears done at the same time.
I went back again after another week to get my splint removed and again the results were incredible looking back at the before pictures of my nose i cant believe it was the same nose! Dr Quaba did an amazing job and i would highly recommend. There is some things i would still change about my nose but i think if i did it wouldn't look natural anymore, i'm just always going find something about myself i don't like but comparing it to my old nose its so much better and i'm glad i got it done at a young age as well or my self esteem just would of kept going downhill and my anxiety about approaching people would be a lot worse. The healing process was really quick my black eyes and swelling had gone down after about 2 weeks.
Overall i'm very happy with my experience and do not regret it and it has helped me in the long run! i would definitely recommend Spire Hospital and Dr Quaba for Rhinoplasty and Pinnaplasty.
