4/5 month post op

All is going well . Had final appointment with surgeon. He is happy with healing . Red and slightly raised areas should become less and less over a year. Occasional sharp pains normal, and lumpy areas are normal breast tissue. I am very happy. My body feels in proportion and the weight off my chest makes me feel able to do so much more. Psychologically I am at peace with my body. Although I must admit I need to keep my tummy under control more , as I can actually see it now. I am lucky I didn't have too many concerns. Eating healthy and allowing your body to recover were important I think to a steady recovery. Good luck to you if you go ahead. It is a life changing operation.

7 week pic

7 weeks post op

So here I am 7 weeks post op , healing well . Still a bit sore at the sides when stretching up lifting etc. I returned home after my 9 week summer off with the kids . I live abroad now so I haven't seen anyone for that long. Went to work and no one said anything !! No one noticed! How can that when I had the equivalent of 4 cans of tuna and a tin of beans removed from my chest.!!! I must say I was a bit upset. Maybe it was the same old clothes ?? It's very hot here with high humidity but I want to do some excersise . I think yoga might be too much stretching and was told not to swim for 3 months .also the tape will keep falling off . Any ideas to start excersise ? I am still very happy but the buzz of the excitement is wearing off and it feels a bit sad.:(.
