6 weeks post surgery

It's officially been 6 weeks since my surgery and I'm absolutely loving my body again and the results that I'm seeing every day!! I've went shopping and feel so confident in my clothes. My coworkers have notice that I've lost weight and look more tone and I wear scrubs at work. I did post pics of myself at the 6 week mark. I did do a short 20 min pilates workout today. It felt really good to work out again. I just have to keep reminding myself to ease back into my workouts to avoid injuries or set backs. I also get to wear the garment on an as needed basis but they did say the more I wear it the better my results will be. To be honest, I like wearing the the garment, its very comfortable. I will continue to wear it until it's no longer beneficial. I hope everyone that's reading this is doing well and as always thanks for your time and thanks for reading.

I'm very happy now, I have no much pain (thanks god) legs are very swollen but no leaking blood :) It's very hard to walk with garment but not a problem.. I hope our results will make us happy :)

4 weeks post op

It's officially been 4 weeks since my surgery and I'm feeling great. The swelling has gone down so much. I still have a little swelling in my inner thigh. I looking forward to working out in two more weeks. I'm down to 137Ibs. I started out at 147lbs right before surgery. I have been walking and trying to stay active as much as possible. Just not doing leg exercises. Still eating really clean and healthy. Drinking plenty of water and no alcohol. I will post pics at 6 weeks. Again thanks for reading and your time.

Hi! Your result is perfect, I liked it:) I'll do the same procedure in 1 month later (thighs and knees) I'm 115 lbs and 5'5''. But some genetics bigger thighs :( I am so nervous about operation. I have some question: Your operation is under local anesthesia? I want to ask about pain and does the cannulas made lots of bleeding after surgery ? Thank you :)
June 9, 2016
Yes. My procedure was done under local anesthesia. They also gave me a pain shot and anti anxiety medication to relax me during the procedure which helped. I had pain after my procedure. Mainly the first two days. It felt like I did an intense leg workout. I did take the pain medication they gave which was Percocet. I After two days I was able to switch over to extra strength Tylenol. I didn't have bleeding but drainage from the fluid they injected into the incisions. This is a mixture of blood, lidocaine and other type of fluids that they injected during the lipo suction process. The drainage was very significant the first two days but became less frequent as each day pass. I highly recommend asking questions if you are concern about pain, bleeding or anything else because everybody experience is different and different surgeons do things differently. It's your body and your investment. I hope this helps.

3 weeks this week

ilawson
I know I said I was not going to post pictures until the 6 weeks mark but I wanted to post more pictures because I'm seeing amazing results and it's only been 3 weeks. I still have slight swelling but it's tolerable. I was able to work 4 days in a row, one 12 and the rest 10 hr shifts without feeling like my legs were swollen like balloons. Today was the ultimate test because i hit 10,000 steps at 430pm!!!! We were crazy busy this memorial day. Almost 300 patients were seen and a lot of walking back and forth. My legs were expected to be swelling and achy. My sweet husband had dinner prepared and waited on me while I elevated and rested my legs. In the meanwhile I took a couple of pictures because I noticed how small my legs are getting and I wanted my fellow readers to see the results. I even got myself a long mirror so I can see how clothes really fit me. I feel so much more confident. I feel like a different person. The first pictures are week 1 and the second pictures are week 3

You look great. I'm having my arms, back and waist done June 1 with Sonobello. Your posts helped a lot. I've read other posts but yours really helped. Thanks!

Glad I can help. Don't be afraid to call the nurse triage line if you have questions after your procedure. You're giving a ton of information and it's a lot to process. My advice is keep asking questions if you have them. The nurses are awesome. I called the nurse line multiple times to ask questions or to reassure myself and I'm a nurse. Good luck with your procedure and I wish you the best recovery and great results!

Thanks! I'm on day 1 on recovery. Somewhat sore and some drainage but not a lot.
I did ask the nurse (and doctor) a million questions! Again, thanks!

Good. Glad it's going well. It's a process. You are on your way to a new you!!! Hang in there!!!

You're looking really fab - like you've been hitting the gym! I am quite excited about my procedure a week on Saturday. I have put a bit of weight on so have resisted posting my before pics (although will do soon). I am worried about the lack of exercise I will be able to do as the post op instructions say to avoid any exercise that will cause raised blood pressure etc. I usually like to do interval training but think I will have to opt for walking after. Just hoping I get rid of my problem areas.

I thought it would be hard not going to the gym. I go to the gym 3-4 days a week, alternating with strength training and cardio. I love working out. It's been nice taking some time off and just focusing on recovering and taking it easy. I was told no leg exercises for at least six weeks and the surgeon was very strict about this so I'm making sure I follow this. Good luck with your procedure
