WORTH IT
I'm 35 years old, one child, size 12, with a 36H bra size. Not only were they huge, the right breast was significantly larger than the left, i had overly large stretched out areolas, and they were saggy and hung straight down. Due to the physical problems of having large breasts, my insurance covered the surgery. I will continue to update this with more photos.

How did u get insurance to cover you're reduction and what size are you now?

I called my insurance company and asked them to send me the criteria to have a breast reduction covered. Once I got it, I confirmed I met all the criteria. I then saw a plastic surgeon in my network, who submitted the request to my insurance company, and it was approved quickly. I started at a 36H, and right now I'm running about a 36DD or 38D depending on brand. I'm very happy with the size, I'm about to post new pics.

Thank you so much for sharing your pictures and experience! I live in Fargo, which is basically in Minnesota. Once I'm done with nursing school, and lose the weight I want, I'm going to get a BR. I've been looking at Edina PS. This helps!!

Hope you're feeling better! I am about the same size body and bra as you pre-op. Are you happy with the size now? Do you know how many grams were removed? My surgery is in two weeks and I don't know how much to get removed in addition to the insurance requirements of app 1 lb each side.

I am very happy with the size right now, but they're not done with their transformation. It takes time for the swelling to go down, and then they round out more. I had 917 grams removed from my right breast, and about 800 from the left. Almost 4lbs!

My incisions look great! Unfortunately they're still causing me a lot of pain. I also have a ton of sensitivity in my nipples, which is new for me.
