I've had zero problems with my implants or my health. I simply wanted removal because I was over having large breasts after 13 1/2 yrs with implants. ???? I've been wanting removal for about 5 years. Not to say there hasn't been concerns on what would I look like without them: would they be saggy, smaller than before, etc. overall though I think the reward of not having breasts too large for my body is worth it. I'm not saying I'll never get implants again. But if I do they will be a much smaller implant than 475 cc on a 120lb, 5'3" frame with a previous breast size of 32 B. After implants a 34 DD. I was ok with this size when I was in my 20's living in Vegas. Unfortunately most of the world has more realistic size breast so this made me feel uncomfortable at times, especially the many comments from friends on my huge Tata's.
Now I'm 20-25lbs heavier, possibly some of that being my body trying to compensate for my large breast and the other just age. I'm hoping to return to 130lbs post explant. I was advised by my original surgeon that I may gain weight after implants. I did! Within a year I had gained 10lbs. I worry very hard at keeping my weight between 120 and 130 for 10 yrs. I've let that slip a little the past 2 yrs but it's time to get back to the real me, the one I'm comfortable with.
