After 2 kids and tons of exercise along with eating right, there's no sign of improving my belly. I tried CoolSculpting but sadly it did not help at all. It's time to get serious! My surgery is April 24th! I'm getting nervous and yet excited that my time has finally come.
I'm 5' 10" and weigh 180 lbs. I work out 4-5 days a week comprised of rowing, trail running, and other cross-fit type exercises. I look forward to actually seeing results of this effort.
My surgery is comprised of a tummy tuck with lipo in my thighs, flanks, and core. I'm not having a breast aug or lift as my boobs are fine :)

1 week post op

It has been a long week! But I have come a long way already. The first two days post op were the WORST! I knew that there would be pain and discomfort involved, but I didn't realize just how much. I have a fairly high pain tolerance and so figured that while it would hurt, I would be able to easily manage it. The first two days were awful. I experienced significant pain when attempting to move even the slightest bit, much less walking to the bathroom. I am definitely not used to being so immobile and dependent on others doing so much for me. Thankfully I have the best husband ever. I couldn't have managed this without his support.

Tomorrow is my appointment to get my stitches and drains removed and I cannot wait! I am feeling really good at this point and feel that most of my movement is hindered by the bandages and drains. I'm hoping that I will feel SO much better after I'm able to move more with out the drains. I'm sure that finally getting a real shower will improve my condition as well!!! At least it better....I'm scheduled to go back to work the day after tomorrow! eek!
