My background I'm 5' 3" and 138lbs I have always had a bigger stomach my whole life and hips for days so once I had kids and got stretch marks I was pretty down on my looks so wanted to do something for myself.
The procedure, in my opinion was pretty painful for the first five minutes but then becomes tolerable but still wouldn't say I didn't feel anything I was just able to handle it. It definitely takes your breath away when it first goes on. After my two hour procedure I drove home and really felt like someone had punched me over and over multiple times in my stomach and sides and it stayed like that for three days. The swelling started 24 hours after I had it done. I had procedure done 6 days ago and currently having extreme nerve pain in my lower abdomen. I will be calling the doctor on Monday to see if they can give me anything for the pain. As of right now my stomach is super swollen and numb. I'll be posting pictures Monday as I'll be one week out. One last thing...the doctors do down play the post op pain for sure it seems pretty evident that a lot of people not "a small percent" get this bad nerve pain.

I am totally with you about the pain. I had the procedure done 2 days ago. She tried to do my upper belly but there wasn't enough fat, and that was unbelievably painful. So we switched to the lower abdomen like you. I turned white as a ghost and almost fainted. She gave me some juice and I felt a bit better. But I am with you, it was painful. Yesterday, my first day after the procedure, was horrible. I am real swollen, and if anything touches my belly I am in severe pain. I am supposed to go in April 8th and have Liposonix done to my upper belly and I am really getting scared after reading the reviews. I just wish I had been a bit more prepared for the pain.

So I am 9 days post op and the nerve pain that I had posted about before is still here and pretty painful. It feels like my skin is burning on the inside.. my doctor did prescribe me medicine for the nerve pain which does help a lot! I know I said I would post pictures Monday but my husband hasn't been home but will be friday to take them I tried taking them my self and they turned out horrible. My swelling is gone now and I look pretty much the same as I did before I have this done. Oh and just to clarify my flanks do not hurt at all the nerve pain is only in my stomach.
