Disastrous. Mr John Pereira did not come into McIndoe Surgical centre that day and instructed his secretary to get some to stand in for him. The results of two surgeries one done by Peter ARnstein who stood in for John Pereira to do post MOHS surgery, and John Pereira two months later to replace cartilage which should have been replaced at first reconstruction. I am the victim of total negligence of incompetence at McIndoe Surgical centre. Mr John Pereira has cancelled second appointments with me since beginning of 2013 the worst cancellation being on 5 March 2014 when he was to take me to theatre and do reconstruction under general anaesthetic which did not happen even with Mr Peter Arnstein he gave me local anaesthetic which is hell, especially after having had loads of that injected into your nose tip for Mohs surgery to remove basal cell carcinoma.

Hope my comments help. I have found the best hospitals I have been in for other things besides plastic surgery are the HCA Hospitals in London as they use everything disposable eg disposable blood pressure cuffs and flatrons that are put on you in theatre to help prevent DVT and you are MRSA tested the pack of disposable items are for you alone. There is no other blood pressure cuff used on you that has been used on another patient like in other private hospitals as they say guidelines say they do not need to go as far as having disposable items like above for patients.

I've had a procedure with John pereira and was very unhappy with the results. Was just told to pay again in 2 yrs for same procedure. Which I'm furious about. Did to take your complaint further as I'm at a loss as what to do now

Port Mohs surgery reconstruction done a McIndoe Surgical Centre East Grinstead UK

Irish Fairy
After having a consultation with an eminent Plastic Surgeon in UK who told me to massage area where cartilage was put into nose hard for three months to help soften nose for third surgery to try and put it right after two botched reconstructive surgeries at McIndoe Surgical centre UK. It is very painful when I massage area with nervy pain. I was never given this advise at McIndoe. If the procedure was done properly in the first place I would not be facing a third surgery, this problem has been going on for Nine months when if done properly in first place would have been long forgotten about by now.

Post MOHS Basal Cell Carcinoma Surgery - East Grinstead GB

Irish Fairy
I Irish Fairy want to give a positive update of what has transpired after I wrote these previous reports while being in a very 'volatile mood' I met with Mr Peter Arnstein and Mr John Pereira on 5 November 2014. Both surgeons explained to me at length why my nose had collapsed and are doing their best to resolve this problem for me. I, hereby, retract anything I a have posted on this site that are negative and defames both Mr Peter Arnstein and Mr John Pereira and Mcindoe Surgical Centre East Grinsteam GB. Mr John Pereira has performed previous surgery on me in the past which I have been extremely happy with his attention to detail. My case of Post MOHS reconstruction has been explained to me as a very difficult case and basically has never happened before to either of these Plastic Surgeons. I, hereby, retract everything I have mentioned on this website about these posts.
In hindsight I just wish that I had not been so incensed and volatile at the time of writing and that the surgeons involved had explained things more fully to me in person and what could be done at the time to rectify the situation which they have done now. I would recommend McIndoe Surgical Centre to anyone thinking of having life changing Plastic Surgery in the future but please do ask all questions you wish to ask and do not be afraid to ask as these surgeons are human like us after all!
