As far as I can tell I have full feeling in both nipples. I had the drains removed on day 2 Post Op. The right one bled more than the left and has more bruising, but they both feel the same in terms of swelling. The soreness is minimal providing I don't overdo it. I have no regrets at all having had this procedure, except perhaps that I didn't have it done sooner. I can't wait to get back to all the sports my boobs and the back pain they caused prevented me from doing.
Good luck to all you ladies considering this op and happy healing to those who have already had it done.

I've done it!

I'm on day 4 post op already!
I meant to come on and update sooner but have been feeling very nauseous and headachey. Much better today so here goes.
I didn't have long to wait for my surgery after I arrived at the hospital. Everyone was lovely and my consultant came and took some photos and marked up my breasts. i remember chatting with the anaesthetist and being prepared then the next thing I knew I was all done and back in my room.
I don't think I got on well with the Oramorph or maybe it was the after effects of the anaesthetic but I felt very confused, nauseous and headachey for the next 12 hours. I was looked after really, really well by the lovely nurses and my consultant kept in regular contact with them to check on my progress. Let me repeat the advice I have seen others give - do whatever you need to do to prevent constipation!!!! I ended up having an enema and wished I'd had it sooner. It's not just the bloating, it's the nausea and headache it causes at a time you could well do without it.
The pain from my breasts never reached higher than a 6/10. I have been comfortable taking paracetamol or ibuprofen ever since day 2.
My breasts were wide and low and I asked for them to be as small as possible whilst still retaining a natural shape. My surgeon listened carefully to what I wanted and why, and I think he has done a fabulous job.
Will try to post some photos now.

Thanks for the good wishes! I leave for the hospital in an hour, surgery expected to be this afternoon. I'll try to upload a before photo once I am all marked up. I can hardly believe this is actually going to happen. I'm grateful to you ladies who have posted about your experiences, it really helps when I start to feel nervous. See you on the other side.

Good luck today Dr.AG, I hope you get to see your PS today. Let us know how you get on xx
I think I know what the problem is: the incisions are healing, getting dry and pulling which makes my chest tight, very tight. For the first time last night I took a T3. He told me not to start any oil Tx until I see him next week and not to massage it, also being swollen is also contributing to the tightness. All together, I am miserable but got to be patient. I might extent my return to work by another week bc there is no freaking way I can go back to work. Hoping by 3rd week, tightness will decrease significantly.
