Acceledent Working Great So Far! - East Coast, USA
UPDATED FROM AnnaB550

Tray 10 no big noticable changes yet.
So far changes are slow but definitely happening. (Not that anyone is reading this) ???? Acceledent makes this a no pain event and much more frequent tray changes. So happy I had Acceledent as an option! Included is a picture comparison of before and after tray 10.

Hi! thanks for your review. I started my invisalign treatment in july with acceledent. I'm on tray 4/51! I was really worried about the long term stability of my teeth since it's moving faster, but now I like acceledent because it makes the aligners more comfortable.
I was also worried about changing trays every 5 days, but good to hear you are doing the same.

The quick change had me worried too in the beginning but all seems to be going well so far. I have also seen people on here who are changing every 3 days. Keeping fingers crossed.

I began using Acceledent along with Invisalign...
I began using Acceledent along with Invisalign braces about a month ago. I have 48 trays and being up there in age wanted this to get going and through as quickly as possible. I have pretty severe crowding on the front teeth both on top and on bottom. My orthodontist offers Acceledent as an add on to your treatment if you choose. He adds 35.00 a month to a two year payment plan. That comes out to 840.00 total cost. He has been an Orthodontist for 35 years and is a top Invisalign provider.
I have developed a pattern for using Acceledent so that I never miss a day and use it at approximately the same time every day. I have it ready on my nightstand the night before and pop it in first thing in the morning while I watch the news to catch the weather for the day. I have not missed a day yet. When I first got Acceledent I had some difficulty with it because I have a very small mouth and the mouth piece went back way too far into the crease of my jaw. I ended up cutting a tiny bit (maybe 1/8 of an inch) off so that it would fit better. I really have not had any pain while suing it along with Invisalign. I do feel pressure and my front teeth are too sore to bite into anything hard like an apple (have to cut it up) but that is only when I take the trays out to eat. I wore metal braces as a kid and the pain from those was much much worse than anything that I have felt while Invisalign with Acceledent. One thing you have to learn about Acceledent is that you have to find the right pressure as you bite down on it. If you bite too hard you don't feel much vibration but if you hold it gently with your teeth, you will get maximum vibration.
Although I can't visually see my teeth getting straighter yet, I can tell that they have moved significantly by the space between that was never there before. I am currently changing trays every 4 days but if I feel that they aren't ready to change yet, was advised to keep them in another day. I have only done this one time so far. I hope this helps anyone thinking of using Acceledent, feel free to ask questions if you have any. I have posted a before photo and will update at tray 10. I am on tray 8 now.

In re-reading this I see some typos but don't see an edit button so forgive my mistakes. I think you will still get the gist.
Can we see the updated photo?
I posted a tray 16 update, I'm on tray 19 now and will repost at 20.
Thank you for your reply. I apologize. I didn't scroll down far enough to see that. Looking forward to the next picture. I ordered mine today. I'm a Canadian and with the current strong US dollar "ouch" :-( Hope it's works!!!
No apologies necessary, I posted it after you asked. Good luck with your process.
