Early 30s Rhinoplasty for Cosmetic Reasons!

I have been wanting a rhinoplasty for at least a decade. I researched a lot of physicians and even had two consultation with Columbus surgeons a few years ago; I just could not schedule a surgery because I didn't feel they were right for me and I did not want to take out a loan for my rhinoplasty. I thought about going to my breast augmentation surgeon (2006) back in Cleveland, but I wanted to stay local for recovery, post ops, and possible complications. I did my research and found the Sullivan Centre. I have been seeing Dina for skin care (highly recommend, best decision ever) for at least a year, heard great things about Dr Mike from people I know, so I decided to go for it. Dr Mike is very kind, direct, realistic, and honest. I booked my surgery the same day I had my consultation. I had to switch the surgery, due to work, and the staff was very accommodating. I followed all pre op and post op instructions; Dr Mike does NOT mess around, which is comforting. My nose (and life) were literally in his hands. I loved that the Sulllivan Centre is the office and surgery center in one building; rare for Columbus. Most surgeons have to contract through a hospital. Day of my surgery, I was nervous, but my pre op nurse was absolutely amazing. She deserves a gold medal. All his staff have extensive surgical background and the credentials to back it up. The anesthesiologist was probably the nicest doctor I ever met, and injected lidocaine before inserting my IV. I woke up with my cast, stitches, and no pain; just post-anesthesia fog. My nurse was there to help me change and so kind with my post-surgical self (I am a nurse, so I loved her even more for treating me like a human being, instead of an annoyance (which happened after another surgery I had to remove a urethral cyst at a major hospital). My husband loved talking with her before the and after the surgery, and Dr Mike took the time pre-op to explain everything and the expected outcome. Recovery: not as bad as I was expecting. I even had a few Percocets left over. My breast augmentation was much worse. I am about 5 months post-op, and loving my results. Do people notice I have had a nose job? A few. Swelling and minor changes over these past few months have eased the transition. Do I look like myself? YES. Just a better version. Dr Mike did not give my a 90s "ski slope" nose or completely change my look. My bump is gone, and I have a beautiful profile, along with a super straight front view. My view on plastic/cosmetic surgery/procedures: look like the best version of yourself, not a different person! That is exactly what I achieved!
