I was scheduled to do a facelift at 6:30 am. My boyfriend and I arrived 5 minutes early. Some man met us at the entrance and seemed very rushed. He sent my boyfriend home immediately. Told him he’d call. So here I am alone with this man. He never introduced himself. He wore some kind of biker hat. He pointed to a bathroom and told me to change and meet him in the procedure room. I asked where the nurse and doctor were and he said ‘on their way’. He then said, ‘we have to get you relaxed and handed me a cup of pills. Next thing I know, I was home! My boyfriend could barely wake me for two days!!

However, Dr. Standefer, who has performed over 10,000 facial surgeries has mastered the earlobe reduction procedure. Swelling from surgery lasts much longer than 2 weeks and the final result may not be visible for months as we tell all of our patients. You cannot get a more compassionate and skilled surgeon than Dr. Standefer. In addition, our anesthesia provider is tasked with getting the surgery to start on time. Of course, we wouldn't allow anyone to go back with the surgery patient and risk the sterile field created for surgery. The oral medication and sedation used are thoroughly discussed in the pre-operative appointment before surgery as well as the on surgical consent signed by the patient. Our patients love our anesthesia provider and we would trust him with our lives and those of our families. Dr. Standefer is one the best surgeons in the DFW area and patients come to him from all over the country. We will gladly discuss any dissatisfaction of course and have reached out to you numerous times. We wish the very best results for all of our patients and take pride in the work we do.

Botched Earlobe Reduction Surgery

I went to this doctor for a deep plane facelift and earlobe reduction to be performed together. The doctor forgot to do my ears. Had to wait awhile for the ear surgery due to a staph infection and swelling. He did my left ear first in about 15 minutes then did my right ear and closed up and left the surgery room without looking at both ears at the same time. I went to my car and took pics to send my boyfriend and he immediately responded ‘they are not symmetrical!’. I thought maybe due to swelling? Well it’s been 2 weeks and safe to say that one ear has a lobe and the other doesn’t! How do you mess that up??
