How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Otoplasty with 2 Revisions - Horrible Experience
Had an otoplasty when I was 13 but was never satisfied with the result. The ears were uneven: one was sticking out more than the other and it had a "telephone" shape.
I had 2 revisions in an attempt to fix this. One at 19 and the other recently at 27. Both revisions just made things worse. First revision worsed the telephone ear deformity and the second one overcorrected the upper part. Now both ears are really close to my head and have a weird "wavy" shape.
Really frustrating and I lost all hope this will ever look right.
I cannot believe how normalized this procedere is and how surgeons always tell you it's just a routine procedere that is really simple. There a tons of complications that can happen and once something goes wrong it's really hard to fix.
Overall I wish I had this never done and anyone who thinks about getting this should really think hard about it.
