My entire life, I’ve always had HUGE self-confidence issues when it came to the appearance of my ears. In school I was made fun of, so as a young adult, I would always wear my hair down because my ears took away from my facial appearance in such a big way. Otoplasty wasn’t something that even came across my radar of possibilities until after I had my first cosmetic procedure back in Spring ‘19. I had a breast augmentation and loved the confidence it gave me, so I began looking into the realm of cosmetic surgeries. Ive always carried myself in a confident, self-assured manner, so the fact that I was even considering ear surgery came as a shock to my closest friends and loved ones.
