Day 23 boob update :)

Today is day 23. I am experiencing no pain, just occasional nipple sensitivity. Sometimes the nipple sensitivity keeps me awake at night because it's so uncomfortable. Also, I'm still only supposed to be sleeping on my back, so as I get more comfortable with having boobs it's harder to force myself to stay on my back.

I'm so happy that my implants are continuing to drop and fluff! :-) My left still needs to come down a little more, but I can definitely see an improvement day to day. My nipple on my left breast pointed downward more than my right because it hadn't dropped, but that's changing! I massage them a few times a day. I'm still wearing the compression wrap to help them come down.

I'll be back at the gym within the next few days. My PS said I could start back at 3 weeks, but I'm playing it safe and waiting an extra couple of days just because I'm worried about hurting the girls!

Back to Work with Boobs at 17 days PO

Today is day 18. I started back at work last night (I waitress). It was okay at first, but towards the end of my shift I was aching pretty badly, so I left a little bit early. That was the most activity I've had in almost 3 weeks, so I'm hoping that's the only reason I had increased pain last night. I'm glad I'm off today!
Also, my left breast still has not dropped as much as my right, which worried me at first, but then I read that other women have been experiencing the same thing. I'm wondering if because I laid in bed for the entire first 2 weeks after surgery, my healing time has been slower because there hasn't been as much blood circulation (?). I also iced more than I should have, I think, which I now know slows blood circulation. I should have limited icing to only a few mins a day, but stopping after the first week. I'm continuing to massage my breasts as much as possible, moving the implant around and pushing it down. I really hope they drop and fill out a little more (especially my left).
My nipples have been painfully sensitive lately! It hurts when my shirt brushes up against them and even when I wear a bra! This nipple irritation is basically the only discomfort related to surgery that I'm still experiencing. Except for the boob pain after working a few hours last night, this morning I feel fine.
Also, I took some pics yesterday:

I have heard some women having temporary relief from pain and sensitivity when they put nursing pads in their bra. ;)

thanks for sharing! We share the same surgery day and got similar size implants, I too am having serious nipple sensitivity. I've heard it can last a few months but I think it's worth the discomfort.
