I am just 4 days out from my tummy tuck, although I like my results thus far, I can't really enjoy and take it all in because of my frequent headaches or worrying about leg discomfort. When shoukd i start to see some decrease in swelling? This definitely has not been the greatest week and I'm praying for a rainbow at the end of my storm.:) I hate to sound like a hater but why couldnt I have one of the easier recoveries? This is nothing like my csection recovery. When will my days get better?

Hang in there girlie! The swelling still comes and goes for me and im POD 30 watch your salt in take im also taking bromelain & arnica ive been swell free for the past 2 days your still early on stay on top of ur pain meds rest as much as possible walk around during bathroom breaks and keep binder on it helped me a lot happy healing! Praying u feel better soon.

Thanks everyone for all the support. I believe I was having one of those mental days that everyone has spoken about. I'm feeling much better today. I blame anxiety, lol. I have not purchased any vitamins because I had not been able to locate them in walmart, but I have been watching my salt intake, eating fruits, fish and drinking plenty of water. I will venture out again today to walgreens or gnc to search for those vitamins, I did have a WOW moment this morning when I removed my garment to wash it. AMAZING!! Drains will hopefully be removed at my 1wk postop on wednesday since the output has been less than 30 total :). Well, happy Sunday to all my RS fam!

Hello to all of my Realself family. I am 1 day...

Hello to all of my Realself family. I am 1 day postop and wow, the pain ain't no joke. Im trying to take 1 percocet every 4 hrs instead of 2 every 6 hrs so i can move around more than sleep. Lol, lucky for us pain=beauty. I haven't taken any postop pics yet but hopefully I can manage one or two later when I remove my cg and put the binder on to freshen up.
