I had two c sections that were emergency and gained over 70lbs with each child, yes I was at every Buffet possible ???? A full tummy tuck with Liposuction will be performed in a little over two weeks! So ready to get my body back!

Tomorrow!
Tomorrow morning is my surgery, I have to be there at 7:45am. Super excited, I can't say that I'm nervous at all; I think I have been so disappointed with my body since giving birth 9 years ago, I'm just ready! I have a lot of friend/family support, which is helpful. I am going to try to go back to work in 11 days as my job is not high physical demand and my work family will definitely pitch in. I will update soon. Ready set go.. My countdown is almost complete!!!:)

I hope surgery went well and you are at home starting the healing process. Be kind to yourself and listen to your body. It's a new day! Happy Healing!

Day of treatment
I made it!
This morning, I woke up with a smile on my face and excitement! Everyone was so pleasant and loving at Dr.Gunn's office. When your PS walks in and automatically gives you a hug, that speaks volumes. Surgery went awesome!! I lost 8 lbs and 14 inches. I have drain tubes and a binder on and I feel so much lighter already(it may be in my head , lol) I can't see my bakery roll that was always apparent from my loose skin that I would pull my panties always over, it's gone - I never thought I'd see the day. I've dozed off and on this afternoon, I can tell my stomach muscles are "tight" and I've had a burning sensation off and on tonight but nothing unbareble.... Yet! So far I will say it's totally worth it ask me in a few days ;)

So happy to hear it's going well. I am interested in hearing how tomorrow goes too! I am scheduled for surgery June 7th and am very anxious about the post-op pain/discomfort. Any tips/suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I've always had a nausea problem after sedations; My doctor prescribed zofran, I took it one hour prior to my scheduled surgery and my CRNA was FABULOUS, I felt a little nauseated on the car ride home I took another Zofran and have felt fine ever since with that aspect. I've had dry toast and a 1/2 cup of chicken salad (I don't really have an appetite) but the CRNA said make sure to eat with the Percocet or it would make me vomit (I also had muscle repair, so we definitely don't want that). I'm staying up on my pain medication and not letting myself get to the point of pain. Also, I made the decision after the suggestion to get a stool softener, so I have added that as well. Loose clothing and I am just wearing a bandini strapless bra for comfort. Let people wait on you hand and foot, my family has been amazing down to my children who are 8 and 4 ❤️.

I'll be sure to ask about the Zofran, thanks for the tip. Best wishes to you, I hope things continue to improve!
