6 weeks Po
WORTH IT$7,500
Yesterday marked 6 weeks since I made one of the best decisions ever!!! I go to the PS for a PO this coming Monday! We went to the beach last week I wore a two piece and I've never felt more confident! I still have swelling around my hip area (liposuction was performed there) but I can tell in the past few days it's subsiding. I have lost a total of 22.8 lbs with surgery and an additional 14 lbs from the change of eating habits, I feel that the surgery helped me make that lifestyle change. I'm posting pictures from this morning and the dress picture is from the other night, it's a medium(super excited, only thing that was semi tight was my boobs and well.. They aren't even shrinking with weight loss ????)

I am a little over three weeks post op, I had a follow up Friday. All is healing well, I feel fabulous. I have lost another 4 lbs on my own by watching what I am sitting! I feel so great(with the brace on), I want to do house chores but I can't :( as you can tell I still have swelling on my sides and the center closing of the tummy tuck it also still has swelling, which may take 12 weeks total to subside.

As tempting as it is house chores can wait, the most important thing to do is be good to you and take care of yourself. You're body will tell you when you've done too much. Good for you!

A great day!
I got to shower (this is a huge deal, it's been since last Wednesday) put on make up and did my hair. I feel amazing!
Going for my "first" outing to the grocery store tonight, I still haven't driven anywhere (makes me nervous).

Congratulations! You look amazing! Did you have your stomach muscles repaired too? Also, do you have any tips how to conceal your drain/drains? How long did it take you to stand up straight? Are you able to walk comfortably now? I'm about 6 months out from my TT and want to be prepared as possible!!

Thank you, it's the best decision ever as I hope yours will be too! I did have them repaired, mine were severely ripped! I had first drain tube removed after 4 days PO and second one exactly one week after surgery. I didn't go anywhere but for PO visits to the PS, so I didn't worry about concealing them really.. I would put the bulb in my waist band and wear a bigger shirt. I was standing straight up with my brace on day 5, I still struggle without my compression garment and even with my compression garment I told just stand straight up it is a gradual process as I get moving. Tonight, I went to dinner and grocery shopping I've been gone about two hours and I'm done.. I will probably even take a Percocet tonight. Good luck with yours!

Thank you so much for you reply - the latest photo of your waist is inspiring! I can't wait for mine. What compression garments are you using? Do you feel like you need more than one so you can wear one while doing laundry? Also, are you doing any special food, creams or vitamins for faster healing? Are you moving "normally" now? I don't want to tell my extended family about my surgery and wondering how long I need to hide out from them!!

Wow...I feel like I will probably cry after mine...I haven't felt like I looked normal in 17 years....I too have severe muscle separation. I had twins and they did a number on my short torso.. Look how cute your figure looks already!!! I am going in soon to schedule my surgery date...wish it could be sooner but my docs out of state. Probably around August for me. Congrats girl!!

Thank you, good luck with yours! I did cry, 4 days PO we took off my binder to adjust and my husband just couldn't understand why I was crying, I don't think I've ever really shed "happy" tears. Definitely life changing!!
