I am three weeks post op butt lift and pleased with the healing process. I added some photos so you can see the scars now that the steri strips are off. I can't wait to start some exercises so I can get back some tone in my butt muscles!

This surgery is a piece of cake compared to my tummy tuck/breast lift/brachioplasty. I am off the meds, driving and headed back to work Monday. I could have gone back yesterday easily but I had the time off so I figured take it! My butt is very flat. Can't wait to get to the gym and try to round it out some. Doc says 6 weeks before working out and 2 more weeks of low-key. So at least I can start walking more soon.

Yes - I am happy. Amazed really. I wish he could have gotten more off my thighs but I realize that is a different procedure. I will post a pic of the scar soon. I have steri strips on so you can't really see anything yet. Once I get all of those off will do!

I am scheduled for a posterior body lift (butt lift, not sure of the difference) on 3/13/15. I am a Realtor, so I don't have a physical job, but my office is 45 mins away from my house. Would you have been able to drive & sit at a desk to do paperwork one week PO? Am I pushing it thinking I can come to the office 5 days PO?

I am not sure of the difference either - sitting is the worst part actually - if you could work from a recliner, I would say yes. Just make sure you are off the pain meds if you plan to drive for 45 minutes. Good luck!

Well let me tell you this surgery was so much easier than the tummy tuck - it's not even funny. I have 2 drains and they are almost dried up already. I will surely get them out at my next appointment. I am scheduled to see my PS on Tuesday. I haven't really seen my incisions yet. She changed my dressing day 1 - but they are covered with bandages again. There is no oozing or anything, so I hope I will be fine with no openings. Admittedly, I have been more active than I probably should have.

I have been taking Arnica Montana this time which is supposed to help with healing. I figure it cannot hurt eh?

I am still sleeping on a recliner, but I can make it through the night with no pain medicine.

I feel like the girdle they put me in is too big. It doesn't seem to compress much. I am going to talk to them about that on Tuesday.

My only complaint is that I cannot take a shower. I have been using a wash rag, etc - but that doesn't clean my hair. My husband took me to great clips Friday night and they washed it for me. It was so nice to have it done!!
