Hi, I have had 300cc saline implants under the muscle for 12 years. I have never been truly happy with them. I asked for a full B cup and ended up with full C cups. I am very petite and the breasts were way two big for my frame. A few weeks ago I started having terrible breast pain. I went to the PS yesterday and he said I had CC in both breasts and the only way to relieve the pain was to empty the implants. Well...I walked in with large breast and left with a compression bra and very little breasts. I will have to go back in a month to have the actual implant removed. I am dreading that. Right now my breasts look like deflated balloons. I am glad that my large breasts are gone, but I hope my breasts "bounce back" to some normal looking breasts. I have to wear this compression bra for 2 weeks, so I will be happy when 2 weeks are over.

Hey Kristybe, What was his reason not to go in a remove the implants, but rather just drain them? How are you feeling? Have you scheduled the explantation? Good luck and please holler if you have any questions, etc., The group of women on this forum are an amazing support for each other so don't hesitate to ask anything, were here for you :)

Hey, I went to the PS complaining of terrible breast pain. He said that he could go ahead and drain them and I could come back for the explant in about 3 to 4 weeks. I need to call and schedule the appointment. So far I am feeling ok. I am happy to be back to my original self. I feel so much happier. Thanks for asking.

Hi Kristybe!  I'm so glad you found this site--as bird said, it's a great source of support and information!  It's pretty normal to feel a bit overwhelmed when your body changes so dramatically and quickly.  Your breasts will start to bounce back and then I'm sure you'll be relieved once you get the implants themselves out.  We're here for you so please stop by any time you need info or support!

Thanks for starting your story on RealSelf! I'm really sorry about the pain from capsular contracture you experienced. That sounds tough!

I do read many stories of women whose breasts do bounce back to a certain extent, so try not to fret too much at this point.

Looking forward to continuing to follow your journey. Please do let us know how the removal goes.

Hello! I'm in winston Salem and single mom of 3 suffering daily with extreme pain for years and illness too that I feel is linked to them I know this was 2 years ago and was wondering if this doctor always charges this little or did you pay additional once he removed the implants? Wondering how you feel now. Any regrets? Pain gone? I need to be able to afford to get rid of these in desperate for help Thank you
