After extensive research on Orbeara, I found this option would be best for my situation. Short but sweet description of day #1.
Procedure went extremely smoothe, it wasn't until 1 hour after the procedure my stomach started acting weird. No pain really, more so a slight nausea. The water and Gatorade thing seem to make me vomit 5min after sipping it. I tried some egg drop soup after vomiting the first time and it seem to really help, For a while! I was aware of the symptoms before having the procedure. I am overall fair. I've been up off and on all night due to the feeling of nausea. Never really any pain. So far today I vomited 3 times since 12 noon. I think I will see if my Dr can revisit my meds.I will update in a few days

Actually much better than to the first day being the worse. Day 2 and 3 no vomiting at all. I can tell there is not much room for a cup of soup broth. I feel so full so I have to drink a half cup instead. Water tend to make me feel a little nausious still. That has improved over the last 2 days as well. I really don't trust my scale but as of today I'm down between 5 and 6lbs

Hey sure! So right now I am on soft liquids instead of strictly liquids. Truthfully I have to make myself eat.I felt myself becoming a little sluggish now that I am not stuffing my mouth with carbs and diet soda. Get your supplements ready. Ask your Dr what can you drink that will provide more energy. I am going to try and walk 30 min on the treadmill tomorrow.

I've had it pretty easy with regards to nausea and vomiting. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. Already down 7 lbs. since December 21st. I will be an Obera success story.

just weighed for today and I am now down 8.4. I'm 56 years olds so losing weight was getting harder and harder. I do feel pressure in my stomach and I'm making sure to get protein in before anything else.

I have that feeling at times but not severe. Today I start on protein shakes along with Apple kale smoothies. Let's just say my stomach will let me know when it's time to call it quits. All good things going in! Yay

Morning! Today make 1 week since my Orbera placement. I feel much better! I can honestly say my knees are less swollen and I am not I'm pain like I use to be. According to my scale (both of them) I'm down between 9 & 10 pda I a week. My nausea ended around day number 2. My energy level is still gradually improving. I will update you guys after my post ok visit.

Hey there, So far 10 pounds in 9 days. My clothes are practically falling off of me but My skin is not sagging thank goodness! I am so full! I have to make myself eat, that's the challenge at this time.
