Hi! I had a br 2 years ago....very pleased with results :) Having tt in March and i'm kinda freaking out a little....I am a total chicken when it comes to pain /incisions etc. I'd like to lose 15 more lbs by surgery. I've been going to a gym and working on my core....now i don't expect miracles but i would love to actually have a waist:)

You really need 6 to 8 weeks to recover from this. Take that time to heal for yourself. You will be glad you did :)

Do you regret it or would u do it again?

Yes i would totally do it again! Honestly it hurts worse than anything i've ever endured! The recovery is painful depressing and long:( Not fun:( but it was worth it! Not to have to look at that gut hanging there and having to pick it to dry off after the shower is worth it!! Absolutely!

Pay extra for the exparel shot if you can. I got it and didn't feel any type of pain during my recovery. And I mean no pain at all.

72 days and counting....after a 2 day fall(more like a cliff dive of 40 feet!) Off the diet and gym visit routine I am getting back on that horse:( Trying not to freak myself out! I just gotta keep looking at that pre-op photo :0 Yikes!!! I should blow it up and post it on the fridge... .i would but my family has gotta eat:(

Worried:(
I am having a full tummy tuck with lipo on my 54 year old body! I've
lost about 75lbs over the last 3 years and could still lose 20 more. I
am dieting and working out at a gym until surgery so if i lose its great
but if not i am forging ahead! I am worried about sleeping afterward as
my bed is very high off the ground. I've been thinking of buying a
oversized recliner fairly cheaply....is this a good idea? Any
suggestions? :)

I rented one and it was a life saver. I had a rough recovery and ended up sleeping on it for about 5-6 weeks. It is a must have!

Definitely going to buy one...found an oversized recliner for $200...not too attractive but i need it

Excellent investment! I didn't think about getting an oversized one, you gonna rest even better! That's key, lots of rest so you won't stress the wound.

I have the regular sized recliner motorized and used my body pillow hubby bought when I was pregnant from a maternity store. I went with a new one because I knew I'd have open wounds and couldn't bare the thought of what may have been living in a used one. I bought mines from a local furniture store for 469 but Sam's club offer them for $499

I got mine at American Signature Furniture for $229 i must say it is really ugly but really comfy:) So if i bleed or pee all ovet it its not a great loss lol:]

Well i had it and i'm so glad i did!! I couldn't be happier with my results! I an 13 weeks post op and i feel great:) Going in July to have my underarm/ back fat skin removed....then i'm done:)
You will do fantastic! Â Â I did the same thing and had the BR first and the TTÂ the following year. Â You are going to be so happy. Â The pain is temporary and does come to an end. Â I would do this all over again if necessary. Â Stay focused on the diet and exercise and I am confident you will hit your goal. Â So worth it and doing this will give you even better results in the end.
