Hello RS Dolls! I have read 1000 reviews on this site and I have finally decided to sit down and detail my journey. My Surgery is in about 2 weeks on 1/22/18 with Dr. Andrew Jimerson, AKA Dr. Curves in Atlanta GA (Well really he is located in Duluth outside of Atlanta). My journey started many years ago when I just became fed up with working out and not being able to loose my tummy! With the support of my husband I started to do my research and go for it. I had a few roadblocks along the way as I have Lupus which affected my hip and I ended up needing a hip replacement...ugggh! So got that done last year then had to wait 1 year before pursuing another major surgery. I went to Dr. J in May 2017 for my consultation. I must say his office is very nice and I am one who is all about presentation! The staff was friendly and helpful. I was lead to a room to undress and answer some questions, then wait for the Dr. When Dr. J came in I don’t know why I was so nervous!!! I was embarrassed standing there naked as he pointed out all of my problem areas! He told me I would need a tummy tuck to achieve the flatness I want. After he pointed out all of my areas that would need Lipo he answered a few questions my husband and I had, then he was out the door! It seemed like he was in a hurry to get to the next person. I didn’t take offense to him being quick because he is a very busy Dr., and he had answered all of our questions. Fast forward about 8 months which brings me to today, I am paid in full and now awaiting my surgery date!! I have began taking Vitamin C 1000mg a day and Iron pills before surgery. I will give an update after my Pre-Op appointment next week!!

Thanks 1tlsmith22! I will try my best to keep this update going because it has truly helped me in my journey, hearing all the stories and getting much needed advice! What are you having done?

exactly! I’m so happy I found this site, it has really helped me understand what to look forward to and how amazing the results can be years out. I’m getting a fat transfer to butt and hips with lipo to flanks, abdomen,Lower and upper back. some of is patients end up having to get more lipo because he can only take out a certain amount so I’m going to emphasize t him that I want by back bone straight no love handles or back rolls! also I noticed that allot of his patients he gives them the “shelf” booty that sits up high I DONOT want that at all I want a nice big bubble butt with a nice cuff at the bottom wbu

Hey! I hear ya, for one I don’t want to have to go back through the surgery if I can help it, so I pray he can get it all sucked out in one go! I think that a lot of the girls you see with the shelf booty it’s just like that right after surgery. I think after a little while it will settle and fall. At least that’s what I have seen from some other reviews on YouTube. So don’t fret if yours is like that in the beginning.....

oh ok makes sense! I wonder if that’s what the “fluffing” stage will do

I think so!

May, I ask fee structure as I am in the market?
User Avatar

I don’t have my quote in front of me but will say he charges for each Lipo section $950 each area I think. Then BBL was like 8k, tummy tuck like 10k, breast like 5500 I THINK.....I will grab the paper tomorrow and let you know.....

What do you mean beware??

I’m a patient. My results are not flattering. Ask the right questions and make your expectations very clear. Be prepared for the worst. Like many people here, the celebrity results are different than regular laymen.

Oh wow!! How long ago did you have your surgery, and what did you get done? Do you have any recommended questions that should be asked? I am so sorry that you are going through! It sucks to pay all that money and not be happy....
January 17, 2018
Ask for the realistic results. Is this what my body will look like? Timeframe to see results? What happens if I do not get desired results? What quantities are you being added to hips vs. buttocks? Gain agreement. Ask for pictures in OR. I had a BBL and TT. Be prepared for pain and have someone to help you. You will need it. If not local, stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. It’s closest to the center. Get a massage every day if you can afford it and if you can get on the schedule.

Hi there I am so excited for you and pray for a speedy recovery. I am seriously contemplating going to Dr, Curves I am just super nervous because I am type 2 diabetic, did he seemed too concerned with your pre-existing condition and how it may or may not affect your surgery or recovery?

Hello!! Actually he was. I have Lupus I think I mentioned before and he was very concerned about that and I had to have a medical clearance from my Rheumatologist before being able to proceed with the surgery....He wanted to ensure my levels were ok and also that I have waited enough time after my hip replacement. So for me, yes he was and so was his staff. Good Luck!

My date is almost here!! I have watched numerous YouTube videos, gotten recommendations from RS, and recommended items from the Dr on what to purchase to prepare for post-op. Some stories I think are a bit overboard and some learned the hard way, I hope I am somewhere in the middle! I will let you know later what worked, what was needed, and what I could have done without....

Pre-Op Done! Sh** Just Got Real!!!

User Avatar

So I went out to Dr. J's office to have my pre-op done. I was expecting to see Dr. J during my visit but you actually just meet with the surgical coordinator and his nurse practitioner, which for me it was fine. They were able to answer all of the long list of questions that I had and I was in there for about an hour and a half. There was a ton of paperwork that needed to be signed and waivers and what not. You have to approve to allow them to use your photo on Social media and you can decide if you want your face shown or not shown....My husband wanted to know did you get a discount if you allowed them to photograph you....ummmm No! (lol) But I am ok with it because that is how I was able to do my research, so if my photo can help someone else, then go right ahead! They also take you in a room to have your pre-op photos taken which made me cringe, but in 2 days and a wake up, all these unwanted boobs and fat will be gone!!!!
